Great hotel for 2 stars, right in centre of 1850. Spotless room/bathroom, very comfortable bed, hot shower, great breakfast, fantastic staff! We were first shown to a back facing room with views of the lane behind. As we were staying a week we asked to be moved to a front facing room with beautiful views of the mountains, staff were happy to oblige! 1850 very expensive and a lot was shut during our stay (6th April) but we did benefit from the fantastic end of season music festival hosted at the resort including amazing concert by La Follie Douce team and a closing firework spectacular! Many thanks to India, Lauren and the rest of the team for a lovely week, you all went the extra mile to enhance our stay 😊

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT. Now my second year running friendly and charming hotel in one of the best locations with a ski lift 100m away and some of the best restaurants on the doorstep. Also great panoramic views from my balcony. The manager India and all her staff cannot do enough for you to provide a comfortable stay. With high prices in Courchevel, this Hotel offers excellent value and having recently been refurbished with a great bar area...its happy hours from 5-7 is exactly that HAPPY! Well done and book me for next year. Dr Jak Kypri

Hôtel très pratique, bien situé, avec parking et placard à ski et personnel très gentil qui essaie toujours de vous faire plaisir. Les chambres sont grandes et bien chauffées. Le petit déj est complet et le bar au RDC est sympa pour boire un verre

If you want to be in 1850, close to the slopes in a friendly hotel, this is the place to stay. You have to be realistic, Courchevel is super expensive and this offers a good size room, hot shower, great staff and bar! We have stayed a few times and they have upgraded the bar 28-50 to be warm, comfortable and welcoming. India and the team are so accommodating you really couldn’t ask for more. Unless you would prefer to pay £1000+ per night, then maybe. Thank you all for a great stay

Spent 5 days at the Olympic and had a wonderful time. The location is superb with the slopes a short walk away and plenty of top quality restaurants just across the road. Hotel is good value considering the location and the staff were all friendly and attentive! Bar area is a great place to relax with a drink after hard days graft up the mountain! India was particularly helpful and couldn't do enough for us including making dinner reservations and making sure we were all looked after! We would definitely stay again if visiting Courchevel 1850.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Olympic. The rooms are perfect size, lots of wardrobe space, clean and the beds are very comfy. The location is brilliant right next to the slopes. The bar is a great addition as a space to hang out with a large selection of drinks and with friendly staff. India couldn’t have been more helpful and would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay at Hotel Courchevel Olympic! Huge thank you to all of the stay who made our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are extremely comfy. The staff are all fantastic and really attentive! The location is brilliant - only a 2 minute walk to the edge of the piste. I will definitely be choosing to stay here again when I return to Courchevel!

This is certainly the cheapest hotel in the area. But it is more a Bed and Breakfast than hotel, as it is closed 12-4pm, there are no phones or room service and the 2 star rating seems generous as the room decor and facilities are tired and dated. We had a quadruple family room and a double room, both overlooked the noisy alley way to the rear which many over reviewers have referred to. The noise may be unavoidable but a net curtain would have at least afforded some privacy on a first floor room overlooked by other buildings, passing delivery lorries and staff. There was also an icy draft that the cheap main curtain didn’t protect from as it didn’t cover the window. The cleanliness of the hotel was very poor - when we checked in we found sweet wrappers by the side of the bed from the previous occupiers, there was rubbish left in the corridors for long periods of time and dirty mops and buckets. Not surprisingly the corridor on the first floor stank - we complained about this and nothing was done so we had to live with it for the duration of our stay. The day we were leaving someone turned up allegedly to deal with it. The same smell pervaded our bathroom, seemingly something to do with drains. Nothing was done whilst we were there and no attempt at compensating us in any way was made. The electric sockets in our children’s room stopped working, again - nothing was done and after a day we reset the fuses ourselves, with no apology or recognition from the staff. On our first night a fire alarm went off while we were in the bar having drinks and snacks which had to be abandoned as the noise went on for so long; again no apology or offer to remove anything from our bill, until on principal we asked for at least the 2 beers we didn’t drink to be taken off at the end of our stay. The breakfast buffet ends at 10am but by 9am most of it is gone. We paid approximately £500 a night per room for 7 nights, so perhaps comparatively cheap but definitely misleading in terms of what we got for our money. Nowhere does it say the hotel is closed 12-4pm that I can see. There is no where to hang out apart from the bar and the billiards on offer is the table the breakfast is served on which is repurposed of an evening and is too small to use a cue in. The staff are seasonal and a mixed bag, Lucile was friendly and great fun. However on check in after a long journey we were greeted by a girl who had us down for 1 room for 2 nights as opposed to 2 rooms for 7 nights…this took some time to resolve. The location is good, short walk to ski hire, bus stop and pistes. The ski room is a cold basement room that is never locked, nothing dries as it isn’t heated and it feels like an SAS interrogation cell. Their upselling and invoicing facilities are excellent - in the months prior to our arrival we received multiple blanket emails - 2 or 3 times a week, offering insurance deals. The one time we did contact the hotel about a possible change of rooms by ‘phone, they were slow
