"This is such a wonderful hotel. The new management and staff are very concerned for their guests to have a great experience. Thank you Julian and Quintin for being so thoughtful. The breakfast is lovely and great that it is was an inclusive price. I have to comment on the cleaner for our room as it was immaculate…. Unsung hero x"

La Maison Hôtel les Peupliers

"Our rooms were rather shabby and not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Our rooms were in an annex/separate building across the busy main road and not in the main hotel which was not communicated at the time of booking. We booked a ‘family suite’ which consisted of 2 adjoining bedrooms, 1 bathroom and separate toilet, 1 shower room and toilet, and no living room/sitting area. Apparently in France a suite means something different from everywhere else! Communication between staff was poor. Some of the staff were a bit arrogant and couldn’t handle criticism. We would not recommend staying at this hotel with their inflated prices, pretentious attitude and shabby rooms."
