Best Western Plus Coventry Windmill Village Hotel Golf Spa

Very good service!

Me and my friends had at your spa on Saturday 27th April. I rang up previously to ask if we could book spa trea**ents on the day and the gentleman on the phone told me it was not a problem we could book on the day. When we arrived at 2pm we was welcomed by a gentlemen who told us to pick our lunch, which wasn’t much to choose from and then was given our towels and robes and said to go straight through. when my friend asked if we could have a look at the list and book our trea**ents we was told “no there fully booked” so we was a bit disappointed considering it was for mine and my friends birthday when we had previously rang up to check we could do it on the day to be told yes of course. Then we was given robes and slippers to get changed into so when we got in the changing rooms, I was so shocked to see the bins overflowing, tissue on the floor, a bikini and towels left on the floor, it just looked a mess. Then when we got changed we went to put our stuff in the lockers and my two friends lockers was broken so we had to share one locker between 4 of us and we just thought it was not acceptable when we have paid for these facilities. When we went into the spa to use the facilities my friend who was heavily pregnant slipped but was very lucky she didn’t fall over. We then asked reception if we could have some slippers with better grip and the lady told us no there was no more, until I told her that we needed some with better grip because my friend is pregnant and then she managed to find out another pair after giving us attitude. Then We went back into the spa and there was no sun loungers so my pregnant friend couldn’t lie down because there was all full, there was one bench left to sit and put our things down! we went to go into the sauna and steam rooms and they was full so it left us no choice to go into the pool which was freezing cold so was in there for about 10 minutes and me and my friends had enough so we actually left a lot early than we wanted. When we were leaving not one member of staff asked if we had a nice day or if they could do anything for us as me and my friends wanted to complain as we would of liked to speak to someone regarding a refund! I was so disappointed because I wanted to have such a nice day for my birthday and it was just a disaster from start to finish. We arrived at 2 o clock and left at 5 o clock and 1 and half hours of that was having food. Considering we drove 50 minutes to come to your spa and thought it looked the best one it was just a waste of our money and time. To think we paid nearly £180 for such a terrible experience and we will not be returning or recommending to friends and family. I wrote a complaint to the spa manager to be ignored just shows UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Would highly recommend to AVOID unless you want disappoin**ent!!!

I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. I got an out building and it was lovely and quiet and have me a really restless sleep I will be looking to book there again if in the area for work. The spa is really good to I didn't use the gym on this day but would expect it to be good to. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and definitely stay here again..

We stayed at the Windmill Vilkage whilst on a trip to see a concert at the NEC. It was lovely & convenient to the venue and the hotel & staff were smashing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant, pool & gym were an added bonus.

Enjoyable one-night stay in a cosy motel-type room in the main hotel grounds. The room was very clean and warm. Bed very comfortable. Dinner was well-presented and delicious. Breakfast is a buffet-type with a good selection of hot and cold items. The spa area was clean and tidy. My only complaint would be that the swimming pool is far too cold!

Really disappointed with our stay. The 1st room had mould and paint chipping over the floor..and cobwebs! We were then moved to another room...slightly better. No hot water in the morning for a shower. Spa reception..not helpful, swimming pool cold, area around the pool dirty, sauna was out of order. Would not recommend

Absolutely amazing stay. Staff are super nice & friendly, especially the breakfast manager. The hotel was spotless, beautifully presented & food was very good. The grounds are well kept and the Afternoon Tea was stunning. Bars & restaurants were so nice, warm & welcoming. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended!!!
