This hotel is a step back in time with the most beautiful rooms, huge back porch on the water for visiting with friends and new friends you need to meet. It is run by the original owners family still and the service is the most caring and friendliest I have ever had. They could not do enough for us and as it was our first two nights in Newfoundland we didn't realize that this was just Newfoundlanders just being themselves. Beds comfy, room extremely clean and service throughout motel and restaurant couldn't have been better. This is a tiny village in gross Morne Park so don't expect the Hilton but do expect to be treated like loved family or a long lost friend. Across the street is a theatre and it was just wonderful. Such talent and top drawer a must do. As we were leaving on our bus tour with McCarthys - another must do - Sharon, the current owner came on the bus, wished us all well and told a few funny stories to send us on our way all laughing - only in this amazing place called Newfoundland and Labrador. Thank you you started the most amazing 8 days with a wonderful beginning.
