Mondrian Mexico City Condesa

great hotel in Centro. very majestic. great service and attentive staff.

As you enter the lobby strong smell of artificial perfume surrounds you which made me nauseous. We were upgraded to kingbed room. Shower head was broken. Shallow sink was designed for looks only. It splushes water The large structural column by the window takes up the whole one corner of the room. The room is small enough not accommodate lounge chair. Espresso maker is also broken as to the pod doesn’t stay and fall through. If you are carefully pressing it down slowly it will stay where it get skewered. This hotel is not a bad hotel. Great location. Staff is as nice as many restaurants and hotels in town. I will not stay here again because there are plenty of better hotels and rentals to stay in Mexico City.

A nice-enough, modern hotel that sometimes lives up to the Mondrian brand. Larger-than-average rooms for CDMX. We had an awful time with the showers that nobody could fix but solved itself (?) on our third day, needed the phone to get fixed and the TV remote needed new batteries...just a lot of detail that was missed. The staff seemed eager to get things repaired and up to standards. GREAT lounge areas and a solid rooftop bar. Condeso is a wonderful neighborhood, close to a park and a variety of cafes with different cuisines (we got tired of tacos). Can recommend, just be prepared to work with the staff to solve problems and you'll be fine.

Not worthy, we had a wet and used underwear in the shower from the previous guest and hair everywhere…and although they sorted out the issue, the truth is they asked if that wasn’t mine after just 20mins in the room (and let me be clear, we checked in 4hrs pass 3pm).

Our family and children so enjoyed staying here, and appreciated the kind, proactive attention of the concierge in particular. The swimming pool on site was unavailable, so they booked us access to another hotel's! It was seamless and saved our trip. Much appreciated and looking forward to coming back.
