Retreat at Crystal Manatee

What a beautiful motel to stay. We came to check in and we got 4 warm baked croissants. 24 hours breakfast available. The rooms are beautiful and the complex is an oase. The people who work there friendly and helpfull. A nice place to stay and a beautifull surrounding.

This was a lovely little place and the staff and owners were super friendly and gave us fresh croissants every day!! Wonderful!! Highly recommend for sure!! Our room was clean and comfy….breakfast was just fine…and coffee 24/7 for me was huge

Charming hotel newly renovated room (king deluxe) bottle of wine waiting in room! Complimentary ice cream dessert delivered for 2 it was outstanding & a bag of 2 freshly made croissants also! The decor in the room cool funky modern! Just needs a small dresser with drawers to put away clothing! Hooks or additional towel bar in bathroom for hanging wet towels! Mirror in bathroom hung so high my 5’6” couldn’t see to put on makeup so maybe a swing out lighted makeup mirror or lower existing one! Need a digital clock in room! Bedside tables are garden stools cool & funky but not functional! Loved it tons but just a few details they needed to tweak! Great location to everything to do In crystal river

My husband and I stayed at the retreat for the 4th time; we find it consistently good, but I have learned to make a few "adjustments" to make the stay more comfortable. I am quite sensitive to noise and light in a room at night; the Retreat has always been quiet & I have solved the light problem by bringing to blackout curtains to hang over the windows at night. The beds are quite comfortable and do not cause me back pain. I bring "hanging shelves" to solve the storage challenge. The daily room-cleaning is thorough and greatly appreciated as many hotels no longer offer this, or you have to request it. Having a limited but good-quality free breakfast & free parking are also a plus. Staff hours are limited but all our interactions in person and on the phone have been pleasant. My only complaint this trip was that several of the shower adjustments did not work but we did not bother to report it.

Beautiful property and very convenient for some nice restaurants and shopping. The rooms are very nice and modern! We really enjoyed staying here!

It was a perfect location for our manatee snorkeling adventure. The upgrades were eclectic but nice. Could walk everywhere we needed and would stay here agai.

Very helpful staff! Beautiful rooms and a great location. Could walk to restaurants, parks, shopping and excursions. Will definitely stay here whenever we visit Crystal River! Comfy bed and pillows. Nice refrigerator, great shower and lots of room to hang out.

Had a great time staying here and loved the location, updated rooms, and pastries baked fresh daily! Free breakfast with access to the breakfast room at all times. I wish the pastries were baked fresh in the morning instead of given out around 4-5 pm but I get that everyone wakes up at different times and having them ready when you get back to the hotel was still great. I saved mine for breakfast. Location was perfect, right near Kings bay and the fun2dive tour excursions. Also near to town center and restaurants. I loved the updated bathroom and the beds were comfy. Cute manatee decor everywhere. There wasn’t construction ongoing while I was there; just them redoing the gardens and planting. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Crystal River!

It was as always wonderful . Nice room awesome shower . Great self service breakfast. Love the pastries in the afternoon.
