"The is no elevator or Bell service. The facilities and property is run down. The stair well and hallways were filthy. They had not been swept and/or vacuumed in days nor mopped. There was spilled coffee and stains and liquids. The carpets were stained and filthy! There were no wash cloths for the shower and I caught two housekeepers walking walking down the hallway and asked them for washcloths. they said "We will try and find some." And replied "Try?" and they said they did not know if they had any. So they asked what room I was in. They did bring us three washcloths. One was stained a dirty brown. One was so threadbare it was unusable and the other was fine. The room itself was Ok but not waterfront as I had expected. The bed was comfortable and fresh and the room was quiet. But the shower did not drain well and we stood in water when showering. The only reason we stayed was we made a last minute decision to stay in town after driving 6 hours to pick up a piece of equipment and it was after 6 pm. It was very disappointing especially considering it was the most expensive room in town!"

"Don't trust the photos online, when we arrived we thought we were at the wrong place for our 43rd anniversary. The grounds and out side common areas hadn't been maintained in probably more than 2 months. Grass was 2 feet tall and brush and weeds hanging in driveway made it hard to get to it. My wife didn't even want to go in ! The owner was very nice and the room was OK. We left after 1 night of our 2 night stay. Cats were on the empty tables at breakfast .This spot could be so nice with some effort put in. Not impressed. Kind of Catfished, first impression sets the tone."

"Crystal River Hampton by Hilton. It is quite satisfactory, there is no special feeling, and the facilities are a bit old. The breakfast was good, the restaurant was at the entrance and exit, and there were free fruits on the table, various self-service coffees, and hot chocolate was free to use. There are not many people staying, and the room is still relatively clean. Parking is free, it is very convenient to go to various attractions"

"Definitely needs upgraded. The bar and restaurant was very convenient and had a great variety that was appealing to my wife and I."
