Very old. Probably built in the early 60’s and not much has been done to it. I didn’t expect much for the price but we would have left if we hadn’t been tired. Reminded me of a “hideout” in the movies. It was clean smelling and bed was ok. Breakfast was a sp**** grab and go little Debbie type sweet rolls with some over ripe bananas and apples. Tried to support a local owner rather than a chain but will be more careful in the future.

Location was excellent. Staff excellent but room was rough with extremely dirty carpets. To the point I would not walk on them in bare feet?

Great waterfront view!!!!
If you are looking for something on the water with a view this is it! There is marina access, so even if you dont have a boat you can set up a sunset cruise or swim with the manatees. There is a restaurant and a separate dock bar. Close to town.
The hotel is older, limited amenities and outdated but room was clean.
Friendly and helpfull front desk staff!
All rooms face the water with balconies or patio so you have a view of the sunset.
Definitely recommend The Port Hotel.

Excellent location and the restaurant, tiki bar and lounge made it very convenient for road weary travelers. We had some issues, trying to figure out the tv and our heating unit didn’t work, but the staff was very helpful and provided solutions for all. Note, this is an older eclectic hotel. Elvis stayed here!

Arrived and upon check in immediately discovered room old and musty smelling. Immediately returned to desk and explained that I have significant allergy to mold etc. They kindly said since they hadn't processed room yet we wouldn't be charged as we had to go find another hotel. Got home from FL days later to discover they did charge us for the night. Not good business to treat seniors that way. Avoid the place in my opinion.

It is old and shows, could use repairs but, it was very clean.
It is on the water and we saw manatee and dolphins right from our patio. A surprisingly wonderful restaurant next door. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.
