Everything was fine, I had canceled a room for 4 people and they accommodated us in 2 rooms, however, noise could be heard between rooms and it was uncomfortable to feel guests late at night talking or making noise.

The hotel is well located and the staff is friendly. The breakfasts are good. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, the sheets were dirty and I had to change rooms. Also, I asked for a hair dryer and it was bad and dangerous because it overheated.

My family of nine (including 4 kids) stayed in three separate rooms at this hotel twice (before and after a trip to Machu Picchu) during our trip to Cusco. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The rooms were simply furnished but were clean and very comfortable. The bedding kept us cozy all night. Housekeeping was available every day. Wifi was strong throughout the hotel. Breakfast was available every day and consisted of bread, cheese, meat, pancakes or eggs, cereal, fresh fruit and juice, and coffee and tea. Water and snacks were available for a very reasonable price. The manager was very helpful- arranging taxis and walking with us to the main street to make sure the taxis had arrived. He also stored our extra luggage while we were in Aguas Calienties. We took advantage of the laundry service which was very reasonable priced. This hotel was the perfect place for our stay in Cusco and I strongly recommend it to to other travelers.

Before and after Machu Picchu, I have been to Cuzco, residing here. Quite close to the historic center of the city, it is in a closed street which is a bit smelly (there are always stray dogs... don't worry but they do their business there! And they can't do much about this. What they can improve though is this: the beds are comfortable but, given the lack of heating, they make up for it with heavy blankets, but not only in the sense of being warm, but rather because they crush you under their weight, it's not the best. And as far as breakfast is concerned, a little more variety wouldn't hurt (above all, if I'm entitled to eggs with my breakfast, I don't have to "beg" for them from the lady who prepares them. Lastly, if my room is on the upper floors superiors, and you know that many Europeans suffer from altitude sickness in Cuzco, the minimum is to bring their luggage... also because maybe they will give you a tip. Advice for those coming with a credit card from Europe. Because of the POS they have, the code to enter will only be 4 digits, otherwise it will not allow you to pay, rejecting the transaction (it seems crazy, but it's like that, trust me!)
