Alloggio economico a Cusco, non lontano dal centro. Si trova su una stretta strada nel quartiere di San Blas, dove i bus per le escursioni non possono arrivare. La struttura è colorata ma piuttosto spartana. La camera è piccola e nel bagno la doccia e il wc funzionano poco e male. Però il calore e l'energia di Carmen valgono il viaggio.

C’est complètement par hasard que nous rencontrons Carmen, alors que nous cherchions un hebergement pour quelques jours dans le fameux quartier San Blas de Cusco . Très bien référencé dans le guide du Routard , ce petit nid douillet famillial est idéal pour profiter pleinement de Cusco. Chambres cosi et lumineuse, wifi, tv, salle de bain privative avec eau chaude, accès à la cuisine commune et patio ensoleillé, dans un quartier privilégié, et le tout pour un prix très raisonnable. Carmen est incroyablement gentille, une hotesse comme on en trouve plus, qui aime plus que tout recevoir et n'attend que vous.

After several hours of traveling to CUSCO and paying online for my accommodation I was told to pay extra 157 SOLES but there was nobody to explain why and what I am paying for!! Lack of English so serious communication problem!! This place is extremely cold and dark. They offer buffet breakfasts - pictures attached. Yes, I know, sounds like a joke and looks to me like joke plus tastes like a joke because they are always late with their what they call "buffet". One more spicy detail of Casa del Carmen is what they call "free Internet" - picture attached!! I've never seen anything slower!! My advice - don't do it to yourself.

Je termine une semaine fabuleuse à Cusco et je voudrais donner un coup de pouce à Carmen qui relance son hostel après le Covid et qui n’est pas bien référencée sur les plateformes d’hébergement. Super bien située, calle Carmen Alto dans le charmant quartier San Blas (5 min à pied de la Plaza de Armas), la Casa de Carmen propose des chambres privatives ou partagés pas chères dans une ambiance simple et familiale. Patio arboré et cuisine à disposition, eau chaude et wifi. Et vous pourrez partager des conversations avec Carmen, native de Cusco. Je vous recommande ce lieu authentique.
