Excellent experience with this hotel, I loved it, the beautiful room, delicious breakfast and super attentive staff. I especially thank Marjorie and Viviana at the reception who helped me with all my questions. The hotel has a very central location.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location can't be beat. The hotel is old, but it grew on us after staying there for a few days. The positives:1) great location - u are next door to everything. 2) shower is strong and hot, although the temperature may fluctuate a bit. (I rather they have hot water than no hot water). 3) you can ask the reception for a hair dryer, and this hair dryer is strong (vs in most hotels, the hair dryer doesn't dry anything). 4) the staff try to please. 5) Breakfast has make to order omelett. 5) Toilet flushes well. So I think this hotel has all the basics that u need.

The best thing about the hotel is its location and the excellent service from the reception staff and waiters. Speaking of the location, it is perfect, in front of one of the central squares, which allows you to visit the main attractions within a few steps. In addition, it has a wide variety of restaurants, shops and services. Regarding the service, you will feel very welcomed at all times, from arrival to breakfast. I stayed at the hotel for almost 10 days, and about 3 times I smelled a slight smell of sewage, which probably comes back through one of the bathroom drains, which is why I gave it this rating. But if it weren't for that, everything would be perfect. The room is good... the bed is good, shower excellent.

Conveniently located in the heart of Cusco we had high hopes when we entered this historic hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, offering is tea for the altitude in front of the log fire. However, this is a basic, old and not well kept premises. The beds were rock hard, the pillows solid lumps of granite and everything looked worn out. The room was clean but really in need of a make over. No refrigerator, no tea or coffee facilities, noisy wooden floors and light coming through the inadequate curtains on the large window facing the indoor courtyard. I already was struggling with poor sleep due to the altitude and I slept badly. Breakfast was basic but freshly made and the coffee was decent. Unfortunately our tours left early in the morning so we didn’t get to enjoy it for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. The staff obliged by providing a boxed breakfast which was appreciated. In fact, the staff, especially the concierge were helpful and generous with their efforts.

From the moment you arrive, they welcome you in a very friendly way and are attentive to everything. The large room with a huge bed (2x2m) and very comfortable, which is very good to rest on the first day in Cusco as recommended. The large bathroom, with a powerful hair dryer and a shower with abundant flow of water. Breakfast is average but correct. The building is very nice and well maintained. A great plus of the hotel is Eylin at the reception, who is not only attentive and ready to respond to any request with a smile but also knew how to recommend good places to eat. I can't wait to go back!

The Peruvian people are very cordial and always attentive. But the hotel infrastructure is not adequate. Cusco is a high place where the lack of oxygen is felt and in the hotel, they did not even have an oxygen tank. I felt a little uncomfortable because of the height and the only thing the hotel had to offer was coca tea. In addition, the room was very poorly ventilated, the only window it had faced a closed patio.
