We arrived in Cusco on Saturday the 25th and check in this hotel at midnight. We were greeted very kindly by the hotel hostess. During our first breakfast we met Jose the hotel administrator. This gentleman went out of his way to make sure we had some “spicy salsa” during our dinners, as well as making sure we were enjoying our stay, shopping at the best places etc. Honestly we felt we knew him for ages. The staff were very helpful, rooms are super clean, historical decor, we stayed three nights. The hotel is located near everything, plaza de Armas, Mercado San Pedro. On our last day Jose made sure he said goodbye to us or better said by the Cusquenos “until we see each other again”.

Een fantastisch hotel om te verblijven! De plek is super en de mensen die er werken nog fantastischer! Zo vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Zelf had ik best veel last van de hoogte in Cusco en was vooral op dag 1 en 2 erg ziek. De eigenaar van het hotel kwam regelmatig checken hoe alles was en zelfs met een zuurstoftank hebben we in de lobby gezeten (deze was van het hotel zelf) om doormidden van zuurstof er sneller bovenop te komen. Ik vond ik erg bijzonder en ook fijn dat er echt op je gelet werd. Kamers waren ontzettend netjes en mooi ruim. En ook het ontbijt was erg ruim in aanbod en ontzettend lekker ! Zeker een aanrader dus om heen te gaan! Zouden zelf ook zo terug willen!!

Excelente servicio. Todo el personal es bien atento, el dueño siempre está presente, el local es acogedor, las habitaciones son cómodas, buen desayuno buffet, rica y variada comida en el restaurante. Los 2 primeros días nos apoyaron con oxígeno, nos asesoron con proveedores de empresas de transporte de carga, etc.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a unos 500 metros de la plaza de armas. El personal de la recepción siempre fue sumamente amable, en indicarnos los lugares que nos interesaba visitar o a donde podíamos encontrar algo que queríamos comprar. Igualmente el personal del restaurant fue muy atento, y estaban pendientes de refilar lo que se hubiera acabado. Me gustó mucho que desde el restaurant se observara la manipulación de alimentos en la cocina. Da confianza. Las habitaciones muy limpias.

This hotel is conveniently located and was our base for our adventures in Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley, also Rainbow Mountain. I liked that it isn't a big chain, it has tradtional architecture and it is easy to walk to get laundry done, buy water or visit the old town center plaza (Plaza de Armas). Very clean and helpful staff, the breakfast is complete buffet style and available from 5 am, which is important for early tours in this area.
