Quoc Cuong Center Da Nang Hotel by Haviland

The hotel is quite far from the beach – about 40 minutes. It’s 15 minutes to the river. There is a local food market nearby. The hotel is very busy due to its low prices, especially for Da Nang. It has 9 floors, with a swimming pool on the 8th floor. There are few amenities. The staff are not very friendly. Overall, I would rate it 7 out of 10. The lower score is due to the unfriendly service and the overall lack of cleanliness, as well as broken faucets and damaged toilet doors. In general, it’s an old but reasonably well-maintained hotel. The only real advantage is the price.

The dorm I stayed at was not clean. The toilets didn't have locks. There were no hooks at the shower rooms. No labels on whether it's a shampoo or shower gel. But there was a banh mi and coffee place I liked close to the hotel.

Good value for money accommodation. Staff are helpful and friendly. Wheelchair access from ground floor. Pool is on level 8. Rooms are given two bottles of water a day. We stay during the ***** new year Tet Holidays. Could see fireworks from our room.

A pleasant hotel with very good service. The room was clean. I stayed on the 11th floor with a great view of the city and airplanes taking off. One note: by default, when you leave and take the key card with you, the power in the room turns off, so the fridge also turns off and warms up quickly. However, the reception staff kindly provided me with a second (technical) card upon request, so I could keep the electricity on and use the fridge properly. Thank you to the team!

This hotel has a hostel with shuttered windows, and that's why I lost my jacket; it got moldy while it was in the closet. I consider this a form of sabotage; mold affects both your health and your clothes. So, they're doing us a disservice, and we're paying for it.

The road in front of the hotel is in construction so getting there is a little bit of a hassle, especially when it is raining. Beside the the room is very spacious and clean. You coundt ask for more at this price range

I stayd Quoc Cuong Center Hotel for 18days and it was with -50% discount. Everything really nice, 2 instant coffee, 2 tea and 1l water every day, daily cleaning and it was around 9am..i found that a bit early but i like to sleep late. Im smoking and the pool area closes 10pm. So after that have to go down to the street but that was no problem. I could come back, maybe not with full price thought.

The staff were exceptionally helpful in assisting us and the location was convenient, giving access to multiple popular places within walking distance. Water bottles were provided the whole time. However, our room was extremely unsanitary with dust and mold in the bathroom. The first room even had cockroaches and we had to ask to change rooms. It was also not soundproof because we could hear other guests screaming in the middle of the night. But overall, not too bad for budget travellers (only 3 us dollars per night) if you mostly spend time outside.
