Acacia Dahab Hotel

The place is amazing, the staff is polite and very welcoming, the pool is always clean, and the owner is very friendly. Everything there is just perfect. We sat outside by the bar and the view was breathtaking, music is great, and the food was on point.

Absolutely beautifully styled hotel with the most friendly staff. We couldn't wish for a better place in terms of atmosphere, helpfulness, good food (we had about 4 or 5 breakfasts and the same number of lunches or dinners here), and location. It is right at the seaside and right by the touristy center which is fun to walk through. The southern side of the town, where Acacia is located, is more local Egyptian (Bedouin) in feel than the northern side which is quite Western hippie-ish. Know that Dahab is not a place with large beaches. In all of Dahab we felt safe and relaxed. From there, be sure to visit the ancient St. Catharine Monastery as a day trip. The sea was for us too cold to swim in (except for diving with a suit on) and the hotel swimming pool as well (late feb. 2024), but the air temperature was perfect for us (around 25 Celsius max). Acacia Hotel usually has some music on the loudspeakers and is known for its parties but when we were there, there were none (which was good for us). The sympathetic staff keeps the hotel clean, welcoming and well-functioning. If you are new to Egypt, make sure to tip because tipping is part of the income they need. In Acacia Hotel, you will enjoy tipping because the staff deserve it! Highly recommended.

We were a large party (4 adults + 6 kids) and we were well looked after!!! The beds were comfy, the food was good, the pool was clean, and the staff were all extemely friendly, hospitable, and accommodating! Achmed even arranged an amazing excursion for all of us! Highly recommend!!

We arrived in Dahab and after staying in nice hotel for a couple of night we found this little gem. Beautiful surroundings, sea front, relaxing, great food and the staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We had an amazing stay, extremely clean and highly recommended. Now I really know the true meaning serenity.

Amazing hotel to stay in dahab. The room is clean and comfy. The breakfast wad tasty will several options to choose from and the restaurant has a great sea view. Most importantly, the great hospitality by everyone in the hotel. Special thanks for Ahmed the receptionist for everything, starting from welcoming us till saying "see you in your next trip"

It was a very warm welcome . The staff was so nice and willing to help with just anything you need: trips, food, something missing in the room. The room was clean and had an excellent terrace, hot water and good beds. They made sure we had the room with the best view. Just ask! I loved the palm tree environment and even in the lobby. The restaurant served good food and had a bonus of a great party on friday of arrival. Its located central in town yet still quiet . On the sea. It has acces to the water and you can snorkel but for a real beach its a short walk or taxi ride . Not a big problem. The pool is just wonderfull!

We have just arrived back home after 5 nights at the Acacia Dahab Hotel and we can't wait to go back in October. We travel a lot especially for diving and this hotel and their staff are easily at the top of their game. My birthday was celebrated on our first full day there and the manager arranged for a beautiful birthday cake as a surprise! The food was incredible, it was fresh every night, cooked to order from scratch and flavours were immense. The hotel itself is not only beautiful but also clean. The palms and trees grow through the building and lobby and restaurants which just add to the natural setting and ambiance. The staff are attentive, friendly and after 5 days there we will miss them. The rooms have everything you could need and the pool is clean and maintained daily. The restaurant at the back of the hotel is right on the sea and it was beautiful to watch the waves each morning and evening. The wifi was strong and if you're like us and run your own business then this was a must. Water pressure is wonderful and water is hot which after a days diving in the February temperatures was an absolute must. We will go back in October and this time take our children as it was safe and wonderful.
