Have to review this! So some one from the managment can read and work on improving customer service with the team. Let me start with the good and appreciated review. The food is really good. The tandoori items fresh. Hot. Delicious especially the non veg items. We also enjoyed the khichdi for the kids. Prepared just as we asked for without spice. and it was gobbled. We entered the restaurant and noticed 1 table only booked. We chose our seat. In a couple of minutes, the place got full. There were literally only 2 waiters and 1 main staff trying to manage almost 10 tables. 30 mins later and after we complaining to the main reception, our order was taken. The khichdi was delicious. But took almost 40 mins to get served to our table. The staff informed us that since it was republic day. Everyone else was on leave. No attentive staff around. Captain seemed least bothered when we informed him bout the service. The worst part is we packed a chicken malai kabab of almost 5 pcs. But reached home and found only 2 pcs! Sorry to say. But the service needs to be seriously improved and honestly looked into seriously for improvement.

We had a good experience and stay at goldfinch, Mangalore The staff was pleasant and hospitable. The dine in food was really good. The property did not have a pool though. Rest all was good. The rooms were neat and clean. The accessibility to various tourist spot was easy. Would recommend this place of stay to any family coming to Mangalore for tourist or business purpose

We stayed for two nights and liked the generous room with the two separate beds. We found the room clean, pleasant and quiet, equipped with modern electronic controls, which makes the handling not necessarily easier. So at night for no reason at all the panel for the air condition was lighting up every once in a while. We did not find a way to stop that. The air condition itself worked well and temperature was easy to regulate. Both beds carried 2 identical, big pillows, too big for our comfort. Instead, we would have liked two pillows of different size in order to have a choice on which one to sleep best. But the Hotel had only one size of pillow. The breakfast on the fifth floor was abundant and of good quality. So we were to more than 80% happy with our Hotel.

Newly renovated, well furnished premium category hotel with reasonable pricing. Nice view from the hotel (highway view). Staffs are very cooperative and gentle. peaceful ambience. recommended for couples too.

I have been to mangalore Taj many times since 2008 my MBBS times, hadn’t stayed here since last 4 years, things have definitely changed much positive but little negative too. Rooms have become modern, luxurious and food has improved to great extent but somewhere the tajness is missing. For the first time in my entire life of stay with Taj I had to pay extra half the room rate for late checkout of 4 hrs, even with silver membership where I felt may be it’s the vivanta thing

I had the pleasure of visiting Mangalore on the 17th of October 2023, where I was greeted with a warm welcome despite my late arrival at night after a 12-hours long journey. One of the first things that captured my attention was a stunning wall-to-wall mural behind the front office desk. This remarkable artwork vividly depicted the cultural heritage of Karnataka, featuring Kola performances, Kambala races, and other local traditions that have gained recent pan-India popularity thanks to the movie ”Kantara.” It served as a captivating introduction to the exciting experiences that awaited me during my stay. Let's talk about the accommodation. The rooms were tastefully appointed and impeccably clean. I particularly appreciated the Skylight Suites, which, while lacking a balcony, featured a beautifully decorated and spacious sitting area with a skylight adjacent to the main room. This clever design made the room feel more expansive. However, it's worth mentioning that the washrooms could benefit from better ventilation. In terms of dining, the food was satisfactory, but I would suggest diversifying the menu to include more vegetarian options to cater to a wider range of preferences. Now, let me highlight the standout feature of my stay – the in-house transportation services provided by the hotel. They operated with exceptional efficiency, boasting well-maintained and spotlessly clean vehicles. The chauffeurs were not only punctual but also displayed the utmost professionalism. I must give a special commendation to Mr. Balraj, who not only ensured our smooth transport to the temples we had planned to visit but also offered valuable insights into darshan durations. His willingness to take us to additional temples during our journeys, such as the Mariamman Temple in Mangalore, Rajarajeshwari Temple in Polali, Bappanadu Parameshwari Temple in Mulki, and Uchchila Maha Lakshmi on the way to Udupi (and possibly more that I can't recall at the moment) was truly exceptional. His knowledge of cultural immersion opportunities, especially during Navratris, was remarkable, and he even introduced us to experiences like the Yakshagana performance at Kadri Manjunatheswar. As my trip had a strong focus on pilgrimage, his insights into these sacred places were invaluable. His careful and considerate approach as a driver was exemplary. Not once did he engage in rash driving, even in the challenging and treacherous forested, mountainous routes that we encountered. Furthermore, Mr. Balraj's helpful nature shone brightly throughout our journey. With my elderly parents accompanying me, his assistance was greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being, offering his support at every turn. His unwavering dedication to both our safety and enjoyment of the trip made him an indispensable part of our experience. Mr. Balraj truly embodies the spirit of excellence in service. Superb hotel with spacious rooms- clean, comfortable warming welcome by the great staff in duty. Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in mangalore after I left to UK 18 years ago without the heed of hotel. Adyaar plaza is one of the greatest choice Nice restaurants and public transportation to get to the heart of the city which is vibrant. Breakfast at Annapurna was excellent and room door service by Raju was great. Raju is extremely hardworking and well attendee Reception staffs are great and knowledgeable that takes you through the checkout procedure waiver as before. I have been given all the information during my stay to visit all places around mangalore. Cleaners were attentive and details are magnificent. Water running all time and hit when needed, the hot water works excellently There was no problems in getting any help. The internet is fast and accessible in all the rooms. The room sizes are magnificent and large with larger beds. The water bottle is eco friendly, clean and tasty and it was a great compliment unlike any other hotels. Everything is available at the rooms and TV is fantastic that displays all channel. The location is memorable and marvellous and windows are great in rooms. Bathrooms are location The checkout procedure are great Lifts are spacious and safer to use. I can definitely recommend the rooms to all my friends from England.
