The hotel was right across the road from the lake. The pool they advertise is just a shin high dirty pond-looking pool. The rooms were alright, but expect hard beds.
The staff was a mixed bag. The man was very friendly and welcoming, but the women were more more cold. At first, we thought they were just being sticklers for COVID rules, but they didn't give any of the Chinese guests that showed up as stringent of a welcome clearance.

Very beautiful sea view room. You can see the beautiful Erhai Lake, flying seagulls and diving black ducks when you lie in bed early in the morning. Next time I come to Shuanglang, I will choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it!

I came to Dali in the off-season. I could see Erhai Lake when I got up and opened the curtains. It was very comfortable. There was a swing and a skyscaper on the top floor. It was very photogenic. I could hear the sound of Erhai Lake while sitting on the balcony at night. There were cats on the first floor that I could pet. I went to Kunming, Lijiang and Dali during my trip to Yunnan. This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in during all these days in Yunnan. It is very suitable for our family self-driving tour. We really enjoy their large public leisure area. We can also book hot pot according to our Cantonese taste.
