Liuyue Wusuo Seaview Holiday Hotel (Dali Erhai Shuanglang)

The service was excellent, very thoughtful and attentive. There were lots of options for breakfast, plus afternoon tea and even snacks in the evening. My only minor complaint is that the room felt a bit dated. It would be even better if the price were a little lower.

I specifically planned a day trip to Haidong just to stay at this guesthouse, and as soon as I walked in, I was blown away! It's incredibly clean and the facilities are top-notch. It's right by Erhai Lake, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The service is exceptional; they offer breakfast, evening turndown service, afternoon tea, and even a late-night sweet soup. And get this: the food is incredibly delicious!!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The public areas are super photogenic, perfect for Instagram! They even offer a complimentary 'goodnight drink' service with pick-up and drop-off. Breakfast was really unique and delicious, and they even gave us a special souvenir.

I visited with my elderly parents and children, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful. The house was very clean, and the living room view was stunning, perfect for photos. My parents kept saying the house was worth every penny and it really lifted their spirits!

This waterside room offers excellent value for money, and the service is incredibly attentive. They even have a butler to help with transfers, which was very comfortable!

This is the first time I've posted so many review pictures for a hotel, I just couldn't help myself. First off, the hotel environment is excellent; the ground floor is incredibly picturesque, perfect for beautiful photos. The butler and front desk staff were all wonderful – they helped with luggage to and from the car and spoke very gently. They even gave us a free room upgrade. Now, about the hotel facilities. For a hotel/guesthouse at such a high price point – 1,400 RMB per night – it completely failed at the most basic thing: hot water supply. When showering at night, the water would go from cold to hot, it was absolutely maddening. The bathroom door is indescribable 🤦‍♂️. The sink was tiny and narrow, and the faucet was leaking. Getting up in the middle of the night to use the toilet, the seat was ice cold. There were also many moldy corners and floor edges that were just an eyesore. Inside such a large room, the air conditioner was so small that it was incredibly hot during the day. I suggest the hotel improve its facility management. Even during peak season, these things are even more crucial. What do tourists look for? Isn't it hygiene, facilities, and scenery? I hope the hotel improves. The price can be high, but it needs to be worth it.

The location is fantastic, a true lakeside guesthouse right by Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The guesthouse facilities are of good quality, making for a very comfortable stay. The service is excellent and thoughtful, and it's a great spot for photos. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel's location in the ancient city was super convenient for sightseeing and dining. The unbeatable sea view from the room was stunning, and the butler service was very attentive. The afternoon tea and complimentary sweet soup at night were exquisite. After a tiring day exploring the old town, it was incredibly relaxing to return to the room and enjoy the sea view from the balcony while having afternoon tea. The sea view from the room was absolutely picture-perfect, offering a direct panorama of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel butler communicated with us in advance and arranged airport transfers, offering incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. The scenery is absolutely stunning. They provide breakfast, afternoon tea, an evening sweet soup, and even a complimentary travel photoshoot. We even received a souvenir when we checked out. The location is also fantastic, a peaceful oasis within the bustling Shuanglang Ancient Town. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali.
