This was my 2nd time staying in this hotel and very satisfied again ! When i arrived at the hotel in the night time, although there were a lot of tour group people waiting for the check-in or something, one front-desk staff noticed me and offered her help to do my check-in, because she knew it will take time to process the others. The breakfast was good, but the 2 coffee machines are not working so well, so please see if you can do anything ! Also, you need to replenish the fruits when became empty ! Location is very convenient. Just take Line 2 Subway from Airport to ZhongShan Square, get out from Exit D1 and walk about 5 minutes. I will use this hotel again in all my future trips to Dalian !

The room is relatively quiet and clean, the traffic is very convenient, and eating downstairs is also very convenient; I am curious about what the black stick under the bedside table is. I took it out and found that it was a flashlight but it didn't light up. It turned out that the battery was rusted. I hope it can be fixed regularly Check out the emergency facilities.

The staff at the front desk were really kind and English was also comfortable. The room was spacious enough and comfortable, especially with a bidet in the bathroom. However, I stayed on the 10th floor, but it was a little disappointing that the room with a bad view of the building in front was blocked, and I turned on the heating, but the cold wind kept coming out, so I asked for a separate heater, so it was less cold. Hotel facilities such as saunas and restaurants in the hotel have great convenience like a global brand five-star hotel, especially because it is located in the center of the city, so it was very convenient wherever you went. The hotel was famous, so the taxi drivers quickly found the location and arrived quickly. I am thinking of using it again when I come to Dalian next time. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

good location in front of the airport, you can book hotel shuttle bus from airport to hotel or walk through the car park .good service,polite,honest,i left my credid card in the room after 2 days i call reception ,i turn out it had beed saved. thank you.

I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

The room was comfortable and the bed was so good that I almost fell into a coma when I lay down. The service is attentive. They knew it was my birthday and gave me a small gift. It was very heart-warming~ The breakfast was rich in variety. I will consider staying here next time~

The hotel has a Tokyo style, is clean and tidy, and the location is very good; Chef Li’s skills are very good, supervisor Hou Guanghua is serious and responsible, and manager Bao Lei is also very professional and enthusiastic; I happened to be visiting a client, and I also bought the hotel’s Lantern Festival souvenirs, which were great, five-star reviews!

From the start of our stay the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. They are also fluent in English and were able to suggest many different activities in and around the area. The facilities are clean and the swimming pool is a great place to relax. The hotel is located close to many different restaurants and coffee shops. They also have bikes you can use to explore the scenery. I would definitely go back and recommend this place for everyone!

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.
