Civil Aviation Hotel is a business hotel with high cost performance. The facilities and services should be relatively high in the same price. We are traveling as a family. The room is one bedroom, one living room, and there is a kitchen. It feels like home when we stay. The room is very clean. Although the facilities are a bit old, it doesn't affect the staying effect at all. The service staff at the front desk were also very enthusiastic. Seeing us with our children, they even gave Dalian specialty candy as a gift. Although it was not an expensive gift, it was very warm. The breakfast is at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. There are not many types, but the taste is very good, and it is better than the breakfast in other similar hotels. I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

In an apartment building (No. 8 Qingniwa), the 11th to 18th floors are the hotel area, which is very close to the train station, shopping malls, and subways. There is Lawson and snack street downstairs, and New Mart and Centennial City are across the road. Business travel self-service welcome afternoon tea: This service is not bad, with fruits, snacks and drinks. The breakfast is standard, and there is really nothing to eat when you go late. The room is quite spacious, and the TV is really speechless. It is embarrassing to call it Internet TV. There are four central channels in total, 1, 3, 5, and 6, and they are all snowflakes, which is better than nothing. The robot delivery is OK, there is wind in the room window, and it will be a bit cold without air conditioning. The bathroom is slightly cramped compared to the room. Except for the cafe on the 11th floor of the restaurant, it is really hard to tell that it is a relatively new serviced apartment in the room alone.

This hotel was in a great location as next to railway and metro station. Unfortunately the power was cut off for the entire block. It was fortunate that the hotel was able to refund part of the stay. I had to checkout when the power was cut off again the following night. This isn’t the fault of the hotel but they tried their best in a bad situation. When I checked in they brought tray of snacks and a letter explaining how they were sorry they could not speak English. This was a nice touch and I commend the front staff for their sincerity. The only reason I took off a star was that the hallway carpet was in an old state and could use an overhaul. Other than that great staff and hotel.
