Jetwing Vil Uyana

Wonderful location on a small, private nature reserve. The rooms are huge and very close to nature - we had to chase a bat out of our room one night! The pool area is stunning and we saw a kingfisher and a grey-headed fish eagle whilst sitting there. The highlight of our stay, though, was the evening Loris walk with the resident naturalist. Thanks to his expertise we saw 3, which was amazing. It was great to meet someone so knowledgeable and passionate about his subject. Oh, and we were given anniversary cake no. 2!

This was our second time staying at Jetwing Vil Uyana, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. The service provided by the entire staff was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with the utmost care and attention. The food was exceptional – every meal was a culinary delight, with a fantastic range of flavours and beautifully presented dishes. The accommodation was equally impressive. Our room was impeccably clean, stylish, and provided a serene atmosphere that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. What stood out the most was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Overall, Jetwing Vil Uyana continues to be a haven of luxury and tranquillity. We will definitely be returning for another memorable stay. Highly recommended

This hotel is an absolutely fantastic place to visit. Lovely place to relax and walk. The property offers spectacular views all throughout. We were given a warm welcome with a fantastic setting upon the arrival and were provided with special refreshments. The environment in which this prestigious resort is built displays a setting of peace and tranquility. What stands out in this hotel is its integration to nature. In Vil Uyana every room is spectacular & spacious. All of them are single cabins by a beautiful lake with a unique style. The food was delicious and will not disappoint. The facility is maintained very well still and the staff is friendly and supportive.

We enjoyed our stay a lot in this very nice resort in the middle of nature. Extremely friendly people delivering great service, our personal butler Ravi was outstanding and a great support. You are really in the middle of nature, we saw monkeys, peacocks, a hunting fish otter, a crocodile, etc. We did the evening walk with the naturalist of the resort (very friendly & competent) and saw three Lories. Very nice, modern and well maintained accomodation, our Paddy Dwelling with pool #153 was the best to my mind as it‘s located at the end of a walk way in the rice field, giving us good privacy.

We had the most amazing stay at Vil Uyana. We cannot get over it. We stayed at the Forest villa with private pool and it was so dreamy. The whole property is like a dream. Beautifully landscaped while keeping the “wild” charm. There is a spa and gym which are both very nice, common pool area and a restaurant for all your meals which is also very nice. Usually, we are not a fan of hotel food, but this is not comparable. Every dish was excellent (tip: try to curry, it was life changing). We were so lucky to have Ravi as our butler. He was the absolute best and always there to greet us for every meal, make sure we were happy and enjoyed ourselves and made arrangements whenever we needed anything. He was extremely professional, had attention to detail, was kind and caring - a one of a kind. We also booked the safari through the hotel and were also lucky to have their naturalist Yessi join us. He was so knowledgeable, pleasant and interesting! We got to learn a lot about different animals we saw including elephants of course. The safari was a highlight! We also joined him for their very own lorry tour they offer at the hotel! That was super fun. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about the hotel, their extremely nice staff, the good food, drinks and amenities. We would recommend to stay a few days to really get to experience it. Thank you again to Ravi for making our stay incredible and we hope to come back again one day.

Excellent location. Just 10min to Sigiriya lion rock. Excellent surroundings especially for those who love eco life a lot. A wider range of choices in room selection. Excellent staff helping clients always with amazing amenities. So much of a friendly environment. I felt two nights were not enough though. Will be back with a bigger crew next time.
