Standard hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Easy to get around as there is a bus hub in front and about 500 meters walk to the river. The hotel is quite old, traditional and clean as it could be. The best part for me is its location. It’s the tall building on the left, once you get out of the railway station. It was raining on the day I arrived, and I was not equipped with rain gear, but could still got away with a few hundred meters running. My room was on 13th floor, facing the river side. On a sunny day, the North Korea side is visible

We were grateful that the hotel came to our rescue. We were turned away by a hotel that accepts only local travelers which we had mistakenly booked on a local apps. This hotel offers good value for money.

Next to railway station. Location is very good. The room is dirty.

Pros: quite clean. The beds are pretty comfortable and they give spring water from Changbai mountain instead of filtered bottle water. You can oversee North Korea from the window. Cons: bathroom made me quite speechless. The fact that the shower and toilet are in the same space was less of an issue, but the set up is like a public shower in China and it's not the most comfortable place to get ready. Towels were clean but very old. Only one light in the room and the only switch is by the door. They need a bit of a renovation asap.

This is the hotel where located just beside the Dandong railway station.It’s the hotel of Dandong railway station.In front of the hotel there is an iconic statue of China’s former leader.My first impression was one of awe - the elegance and sophistication were palpable from the very moment I walked in. The check-in staff were courteous and efficient, greeting me with warm smiles and promptly assisting me with my luggage. The hallways were immaculately clean, and the plush carpeting provided a pleasant sensation beneath my feet. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of the “North Korea “ in the distance just 850m away from the balcony. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and carefully-selected furnishings that complemented the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring elegant fixtures and plush towels. But not up to 5 star standards. Throughout my stay, the staff continued to impress with their impeccable service and attentiveness to my needs. Every question I had was met with a prompt and informative response, and the concierge was particularly helpful in recommending local attractions and dining options. Overall, the “Dantie hotel”is combination of stunning views, good accommodations, and exceptional service ensured that my stay was both comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a sophisticated and refined experience in a beautiful Dandong city in China-North Korea border.

Location 👍same block with railway station, reception 👍courteous, friendly and professional, housekeeping 👍room, sheets and toilet kept clean, amenities 👍sufficient and towels were clean. Free cruise ticket👎, hotel need to advise guests that nothing is totally free, you need to pay for an typical Chinese shopping tour (480rmb) to enjoy all that were listed on the ticket else you will get a boat ride to the end of a broken bridge and back (5minutes ride) but had to spend whole day waiting to return to Dandong. If you are short on time “don’t join”.

Good location. Near the railway station.

During the May Day holiday, I accompanied my parents-in-law to Dandong. The first choice was a hotel with its own parking lot. The sanitary conditions were good, clean and tidy. It was not far from Jinjiangshan Park, Gaoli Street and the riverside, and it only took less than half an hour to walk there.

The hotel room is spacious and bright, with panoramic views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, quiet and comfortable. The key is that it is almost zero distance from the train station, and it is super comfortable to stay with the elderly! Good quality and low price, very cost-effective, great 👍

Although the room is a bit old, it is really clean, and there is a sense of luxury that I can use it at will. The room is very large. It is very convenient to be next to the train station. The sound insulation is very good, and the children are very happy watching the trains coming in and out of the station.

The room is quite big. After the trip, it is very comfortable to sit in front of the big French window, enjoy the sun, blow the wind and eat the legendary Dandong strawberries. The Dantie Hotel is convenient to various attractions in Dandong. There is a bus stop downstairs.

Reasonable price, great location, can store luggage, will come again next time
