"To be frank initially we weren’t too impressed with this hotel. For the same price category in other towns in Dongbei we were given much better rooms. But that changed when we met the boss. He was all politeness, professionalism & he nailed the service attitude perfectly. First he offered us a half day Dandong tour at a reasonable price. He took care of all the related arrangements including taking us for a quick lunch. In the evening we happened by the barbecue stall he was manning & had a meal there. The next morning he helped us with our luggage, suggested a good place for breakfast & then called a taxi for us. His attention to details was meticulous. But what eventually made him stand out from the rest: In his haste to check out my partner had neglected to take his wallet from the desk where it was hidden among all the paraphernalia. Failing to contact us via WeChat the boss rushed to the railway station in his motorbike just to return us the missing wallet. He truly went above & beyond his duty & for that we are infinitely grateful to him. In conclusion should you ever visit Dandong do yourself a favour. Let this remarkable man take care of you. You will appreciate his genuine warm & sincere hospitality. And yes, the location of this hotel is superb. The popular Broken Bridge tourist attraction is just metres away."

"This hotel is located near the Yalu River. We booked a room with a view, and from our room, we could see the Yalu River and the Broken Bridge, which was a beautiful sight. I have to commend the parking attendant, who was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Since it was peak tourist season, parking was difficult. The attendant tirelessly ran around in the hot weather to help us find a parking spot. He suggested that it would be best to park the car once and then take a taxi or walk, as it would be more convenient. However, because we were going to the Museum of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea with our child, we opted to drive for convenience. I really should have listened to the attendant's advice and taken a taxi, because parking was indeed very challenging… Thankfully, when we returned to the hotel later that night, we managed to find a parking space just in time."

At the front desk, three staff members sat for the entire check-in process (perhaps my expectations were a bit high). I booked two rooms; the family room was acceptable, but the double room didn't even have tissues, and the bed was arranged like this."

The overall environment can be regarded as quiet in the hustle and bustle. You can see the Yalu River from the balcony. There is a small yard at the door, which is very suitable for taking pets for a walk. The room is also very clean, and the bedding and towels are clean and tidy. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the hot water supply is stable. 🏠Overall, living here is a good choice, and I will consider staying here next time I come to Dandong."
