Dandong Hotels with Breakfast

Huge thanks to the front desk attendant for upgrading us to a hot spring room! We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a breathtaking view of the Yalu River and distant mountains, just like a traditional Chinese painting. Waking up early, I got to watch the stunning sunrise from the room, which really boosted my mood. The room's details were thoughtfully designed, and it was spotlessly clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows even had narrow side vents that could be opened, letting in a refreshing breeze from the river. All the staff, including the doorman, front desk, and the lovely Korean staff in the breakfast restaurant, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. For breakfast, they had options like red soup sea cucumber noodles and chicken soup abalone noodles, Swiss rolls, and fresh Dandong strawberries and blueberries. The food and fruit were all of excellent quality – definitely a great choice.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the train station, and close to all the main attractions. The room was spacious and clean, and the soundproofing was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely choose this Orange Hotel again when I visit Dandong.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and Broken Bridge. The facilities are excellent, including a smart toilet, washing machine, and dryer. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. They even provide good quality Ador shampoo and conditioner. The hygiene is top-notch, and the service is great. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is self-service. I highly recommend it!

Easy to reach, nearby to Dandong Railway station. Taxi fare is only 6 yuan. Walking distance to Yalu River waterfront. Less than 10 minutes walk to the popular broken bridge. Spacious room, clean and comfortable to stay. We stayed for three nights in this hotel. The second night our sleep was disturbed by a loud snorer in the next room. It was 2 am and we tried very hard to bear the loud snoring sound until 3am. We had no choice but to call up the front desk for a solution. Immediately the kind staff offered us another room to sleep in for that night. We appreciate her fast response to help us during the wee hours of the night. Breakfast served was great, sumptuous and value for money. Overall, I would recommend this ☺hotel.

Our whole family went on a short trip during the May Day holiday and booked three rooms at this hotel, which I'd stayed at over ten years ago. The name changed from Andong Pavilion to Xin'an Dong. The rooms haven't changed much and are still clean and tidy. The hotel lobby and front desk are much smaller than before and don't feel as grand as they used to. The hygiene is still good. Since it was peak travel season, there were a lot of people, and the two elevators felt a bit crowded. Overall, it was pretty good.

Traveling during the May Day holiday, the hotel is clean and tidy, the service is warm, and snacks are given in the afternoon. The location is excellent and it is very close to the train station. I will choose here next time!

The boss said that the maple leaves in autumn are better-looking. You can consider coming again in October. The cabin has a complete range of indoor appliances. Water heaters, smart toilets, geothermal air conditioning, hand-made coffee and tea in the stove are very pleasant. Of course, outdoor camping inevitably has some emergencies, such as small bugs, bad nets, or broken electric curtains 😂 Normal heart ～ Since you choose camping, you can feel another life! The only uncomfortable thing is from breakfast. The breakfast is delivered by the eldest sister. It is very good. Each breakfast is heavy and full. But the two of us can't eat too much. We asked for a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns and some pickles. The eldest sister said that there are salted duck eggs. I said yes, the eldest sister asked a few and I said if I could come two. When the eldest sister was going to get it for me, a fat little brother next to her pulled his face and said no, he could give one. At that time, I was particularly defeated. Our accommodation, the electric curtains are broken, the net is broken, and there are small bugs. We all endured it because a salted duck egg depends on the face of people. Please standardize your breakfast, okay! If you can have one and a half salted duck eggs, please print them out and stick them in a clear position instead of asking us on the spot. Finally, say you can give one. If the boss wants to do service for a long time, he has to keep up. It is fun to spend money. It is not to see other people's faces!

During the Chinese New Year, I took my baby to ski a snow. The hotel is in the scenic area. It is a single-family villa on the mountainside. Below is the reservoir. The overall view is very good. It must be more beautiful in summer. But the construction time is a bit long, the room facilities are slightly old, especially the exterior wall tiles are loose and fall off a lot, just below the parking space, worried that the car was accidentally smashed 🤣. The service is basically the level of the village. We took the standard room chosen by the two of the children. It is a set of four rooms in a villa. Give me two keys, one open the door and one open the room. At night, I took the baby to the town to eat. As a result, the waiter called and said that the people who lived with him could not get in. When did we go back? It turned out that the waiter forgot to give another tenant the key to the door. After that, I actually blamed us for locking the door when we went out. I was really a lost word. It was obviously a problem caused by your mistakes, and I didn't want to run errands to help the tenant open the door. On the contrary, I complained about others without reason. It was selfish and rogue, hey! From Shenyang, the overall road conditions are good, but when the snow is small, you must drive more carefully. There is a tail at the traffic lights at the intersection of the town. During the Chinese New Year, there is no meal in the visitor center, and you need to go to several nearby towns. The vertical height of the cable car in the scenic spot is not small, the old-fashioned open hanging orchid, a little worried about safety, and need to be charged separately (not included in the snow ticket). Because from Beijing to Shenyang, I brought the whole set of skis for the child, I brought shoes without snowboard, rented a double board in the snow field, a bit old, no edge, down the mountain is completely no spectrum.

My recent stay at the Dantie Hotel was just okay, but unfortunately, that's being generous. The hotel is incredibly dated and shows significant signs of age throughout. More importantly, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which made the experience feel quite underwhelming. On the positive side, the location is the hotel's only real selling point. It's incredibly convenient, situated right next to the train station and within walking distance of the Yalu River Broken Bridge

The hotel gave me a room with great view on the 22nd floor. Reception staff didn't speak much English but they tried hard to help by using translation software when needed. Breakfast had a lot of choice; the Chinese breakfast options were more and actually better than Western options, but very worth it to get breakfast here. The location is very convenient, super close to the train station and just a couple of blocks away from the broken bridge; the location makes it also very convenient to get didi cars quickly. Cleaning staff were amazing as well and very attentive to details. I asked for late check-out and they were very accommodating as well.
