Even with a discount this hotel is completely overpriced, charging 300Rs per day for a 2 bar radiator in a deluxe room with no a/c or heating. The room attendant hawked tea on us and at 6 am a shawl hawker repeatedly banged on our door to wake us up to buy shawls. The ***ager was no where to be seen and laughed when told about the hawker. This room was completely basic and this service didn’t exist

I visited the Milky Way Hotel a few days after the puja. In a word, it's awesome. Whenever I travel, I want to see the mountains and Kanchenjunga from the room. My friend told me about the Darjeeling Hotel Milky Way. Since the hotel is located in a great location, I was a bit frightened at first. The best location hotels in Darjeeling usually don't offer good views, so I wondered how it would be here. But from this hotel, you can see Kanchenjunga and the mountains. I enjoyed having such a beautiful view from my room. We went together with two of my friends and my brother. Our room was on the top floor. Mindblowing Room. If you look down, you will see Darjeeling city, while if you look up, you will see Kanchenjunga.

This was an unplanned 1 day trip to Darjeeling with my family. It's usually not so crowded in Darjeeling towards the beginning of October. But a nice time to visit. With the monsoons just having left the mountains all ***** the road are draped in green. Since our target was to avail the joyride with the Steam Engine Locomotive the preferred location for the night stay was close to DHR (Darjeeling Himalayan Railways) Station. Our search landed in Darjeeling Hotel Milkyway hardly 3 minutes walk from Darjeeling Station on Ladenla Road. Not just that, it's distance from the famous Darjeeling Mall "Chowrasta" was a gentle 4 minutes walk. We couldn't expect better. Chawk bazar and the bus/taxi stand just 5 minutes away. The room was spacious, clean with all necessary amenities for the four of us. Ever helpful and smiling staff made our stay very comfortable. The ***ager provided all possible support. The food served was very good quality and tasty. Decently good options were available. As it's with most of the hotels in Darjeeling there was no problem with shortage of water. One last word, Rink Mall & Inox being very close by will provide travellers with shopping and relaxation options ***** with various types of food joints. All in all it was a pleasurable experience.

I have just checked into the Milkyway Hotel in Darjeeling yesterday. When I visited the Milkyway Hotel two years ago with my husband and two kids, I enjoyed my stay. This time, it is really a mind-blowing experience. The hotel has been renovated and looks brand new. I give this newly renovated Milkyway Hotel a 10 out of 10. All rooms are freshly painted. Beds are new. The amenities are great - brand new bedding, brand new carpeting on the floor, and a new geyser. Electric kettles and teapots are available in the rooms. On the balcony of the Milkyway Hotel, I am taking tea and enjoying the puja ambiance of Darjeeling. On one side you can enjoy the mountain views and on the other side the beautiful Darjeeling town. Amazingly beautiful. Guys don't miss the opportunity, enjoy the Durga puja at Darjeeling. It takes only five minutes to get to the Milkyway Hotel from the Mall Road.

We booked two view room on the spot. Our rooms were specious and clean and bathroom was superb. Hotel is just 5 minite from mall and very near to Darjeeling post office and Darjeeling police station. Hotel is just on road side and easily accessible by car. All the staffs are helpful and well behave. I like to thank ***ager for his excellent service.

There is nothing better than staying in a beautiful hotel room. The hotel has recently undergone renovations. Rooms are large, well-decorated, fresh, and well-ventilated. All rooms have recently been painted. A very clean and new bed and blanket are provided. Beautiful and clean curtains. At Milkyway hotel, you feel relaxed and hygienic. The hotel offers excellent amenities. Despite the difficulty of getting internet in Darjeeling, my wifi connection was very good. The Milkyway hotel provided us with complimentary hot water, tea, and breakfast as well. Rooms were really nice. A beautiful room in this budget range is hard to come by near Darjeeling Mall. Near Darjeeling Mall, it is the top-rated budget hotel.
