Hotel Sunflower

Badly maintained rooms ,has moulds all over the room ,bedding is worn out ,staff is nor bothered for the guest opinion ,third class hotel compared to the price it is taking ,water scarcity in the morning ,hot water not available ,breakfast insufficient.

This hotel was amazing in every way. Always maintained were cleanliness and hygiene. The motel was equipped with all the necessary amenities. Excellent staff conduct. Rishi deserves special recognition since he always showed up for our service with a smile on his face. But I do want to draw attention to the fact that the hotel has tables and chairs set up outside the rooms so that guests can relax, eat, and take in the scenery. But during our stay, we observed that other families arrived and were visibly consuming alcohol in the hallway, which also serves as the route for visitors. There is no danger in drinking alcohol, although one can do so at a restaurant or inside a room.

Everything was perfect about this hotel. Cleanliness and hygeine was always maintained. All basic amenities were there in the hotel. Staff behaviour was great. A special mention must be made for Rishi who was always present for our service with a smiling face. But One special mention I want to make is that the hotel has tables and chairs lined up outside the rooms where one can sit and have some and enjoy the view. But during our stay we found that some families came and were openly drinking alcohol in the corridor which is also the passage for the guests to pass. There is no harm in having alcohol but one can have inside the room or in a restaurant. Problem was that the family was creating a ruckus on the corridor where the tables were kept with food and alcohol spread everywhere. The environment became quite uncomfortable specially for females to pass from there as one has to pass from the place where they were openly drinking and making the passage dirty. I feel this is a huge fault on the part of the hotel. The hotel staff should have not allowed such things on the corridor where other families are also staying. Kindly rectify this as there must be rules in the hotels then only the families can feel safe and enjoy their trips.

Very reasonable room rates and very clean room. Friendly environment and home made delicious food. Highly recommended for your stay. Walking distance to Pokhara lake. WiFi, hot water and other facilities are available

The stay was excellent and I would like to thank the entire Sunflower team for making our trip a life time memory. The property was very good and the hospitality was out of this world. The staff were kind and polite which really enriches your experience. The entire process from check-in, providing different services to check-out was very smooth and nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was delicious and being pure vegetarian, it was an additional benefit for pure vegetarians like us. Overall, a great stay and experience and I would definitely visit again very soon.

I strongly discourage staying at this hotel. Reasons - 1)There is a school "right next" to the hotel, 100s of children shouting made the stay extremely unpleasant. 2)There is no hot water facility in the bathroom, we were given silly reasons for its unavailability during our five days of stay here. 3)The owner lacks basic courtesy, it was disappointing to have experienced his atrocities. 4)It isn't close to the lake side, there are numerous other hotels at similar prices at the nicer lake side.

The room and the location are very nice and klean. The food is very good and the owner Shiba and his family is very nice and friendly. Shiba has always information and help for tracks and trips. I hope to come back soon.
