Sinclairs Darjeeling

The rooms very clean, very comfortable and the staff Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. I would recommend this hotel for those who planning to visit Darjeeling. Thanks to Mr. Anil (***ager) and his team for the great service.

I really liked the hospitality of the staff and the overall scenic beauty I could enjoy from the hotel. They were kind enough to arrange for a birthday surprise for my mother at a very short notice. Food quality was good and the mountain view from the property was mesmerising as the hotel is situated at a considerable height. Because of the height it’s advisable to walk down to the main road instead of calling your taxi/ cab to the hotel as it could lead you to get stuck in traffic jam. Overall I had a comfortable stay at Sinclairs.

We recently stayed at Sinclairs in Darjeeling, a charming, older property with excellent staff. The receptionist, Pragya, welcomed us warmly, and Yogesh provided useful informations I was initially concerned about the staircase leading to the hotel reception, given that I was traveling with my 67-year-old mother. Fortunately, she found the stairs ***ageable and not too difficult to climb. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, although it lacked a view since we booked a deluxe room. The food at the Kanchanjanga restaurant was delightful, and Smriti, our server, attended to us exceptionally well. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs

Sinclairs is an excellent hotel to stay in Darjeeling if you want to be at a walking distance from the mall and also enjoy breathtaking views of the magnificent Kanchenjunga peak from your room. We stayed in the Burra Sahib Suite for a couple of nights and in the Premier room for 1 night. The view of the Kanchenjunga from the suite was just magnificent. The hotel is well maintained and the staff led by Swarajya is very helpful and welcoming. The food is good as is their breakfast buffet spread. The mall is just 500m away and easily walkable. The only catch is the incline at which the hotel is located, but the hotel provides pickup service for elderly people. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

No lift in the hotel room size is small for a family of 2 adults and children this was not communicated properly while hotel booking avoid booking in sinclairs darjeeling
