Ushashee Amidst Nature

The hotel is located at very peaceful and posh area away from the caoce of the city. One has to book a toto in order to reach to the hotel. The city centre mall is near to it. The rooms/bathroom are are very good condition with respect to the price. There is a hostel restaurant very close to the hotel, where the food is good. Overall it is worth it.

Kolakham - the Himalayan Retreat

Look no farther if you're searching for an unusual place that offers peace, magnificent views, and a distinctive cultural experience. This undiscovered gem, tucked away in the beautiful Himalayas, is a paradise for nature lovers and anyone looking for a break from the busy city life. Located in the charming village of Kolkham, it provides a breathtaking view of snow-capped peaks, green valleys, and sparkling waterfalls. Its secluded setting, which radiates tranquility and solitude, adds to its allure. Rooms are elegantly decorated with traditional elements that are well-appointed. After a day of enjoying the surrounding natural beauties, we got a restful night's sleep in the comfy beds and warm atmosphere. Rooms have an amazing view of the valleys and mountains, so got up to breath-taking views every morning. The team really went above and beyond and their hospitality is remarkable. We received warm greetings at arrival and customized care throughout our stay. They were constantly available to help with any inquiries or offer insightful information on the sights and things to do in the area. They provided delicious regional food with genuine flavors from the use of fresh products from local farmers. The Himalayan Retreat offers a range of activities for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. There are several options, such as taking guided treks ***** picturesque paths, visiting nearby monasteries and temples, or simply relaxing in the vast outdoors. One can spend hours admiring plants in their well decorated Patio and Plants nursery or spend time painting rocks at their Art Studio, buy souvenirs, play musical instruments, enjoy board games, access library, karaoke and even rent local dresses. This retreat promises a revitalizing experience, whether you decide to meditate in the peace and quiet of nature or just relax with a cup of tea on the terrace.
Chamong Chiabari Mountain Retreat

The location is perfect, even non suite rooms (we stayed in the Rangbhang Manor) are very large, and staff is amazing In my years of traveling, I don't think I have ever met service staff with such an amazing attitude, going out to serve to an extent you almost feel embarrassed being waited upon like that, and all done always with a smile on the face. Salim and Mukesh who also went with us down into the tea gardens where ladies were plucking leaves (it does take some effort to go down the hill the way they do!), Mukesh who went for the river Trek with us, Suparna and Akshay who served us during our meals, led by the Manager, Tauseef. We paid a price higher than listed on Cleartrip and the GM, Sanjoy Bannerjee, said that they don't honour Cleartrip bookings (or any online platform other than MakeMyTrip). Sounded fishy but I don't have a way of knowing.
