No check-in facilities - no idea what was going on or where we were staying. The apar**ent should be in a museum dedicated to architecture and finishes of the '70s.....the photos in no way showed that.

Like: within walking distance of Aus Museum and rail. Not like: poor info on finding the place - not told go to the Oaks, would have made it easier.

Unfortunately I haven’t seen an apar**ent this dirty. It started as soon as we opened the door. The carpet condition was awful and there was a dirty mop smell. The bathroom was dirty, the kitchen was dirty, the balcony had a lot of mould. I bought anti bacterial wipes and wiped down all surfaces. We had dirty, wet towels rolled up and put back on the beds, these were replaced the following morning after I made contact. On arrival I found an ‘out of order’ piece of paper attached to the oven, I did receive a slight reimbursement for this inconvenience after I was told ‘you have a microwave and stove top, you can still cook’. There was a dishwasher with no dishwasher detergent / tablets. There was no dishwashing liquid or cloth, only a scourer and assuming hand wash in the kitchen. Leaky bath tap and broken shower head reported, along with general condition. I would have changed accommodation immediately if I could afford about $2000 to move for the duration of our stay! The only positive was the location. We could walk everywhere and public transport was close by if needed. Won’t be using this provider again.

I made a reservation through a third party and didn't realize it was a non-refundable rate. I realized after canceling that it was non-refundable, so I contacted both the third party and the hotel. The third party tried working with the company, but the hotel refused to let me keep my reservation and kept my money. Despicable!!!

The apar**ent was old and dated, and not very clean. Walls were dirty, carpets and rugs very stained. Kitchen grubby and floor sticky. In the bathroom the toilet had no lid and the floor and tiles were grimy. On the balcony there was water leaking and a large area of mould. Beds very uncomfortable. In an excellent location though, can’t fault that. We would not stay here again.

Where do I start, it was dirty and needed major maintenance and upgrading, the apar**ent is only suited for 3 people and definitely Not 5 people, when we booked it stated bedroom = 2 double beds, living room = 1 bed sofa which in my head and probably most others it sounds like 2 bedrooms, erm no it was 1 bedroom with the worse double bed mattress ever so hard and thin, a double bed was placed in the living room with the sofa bed. We paid well over $1,000 for just 3 nights and was disgusted by the whole apar**ent, our travellers included 2 x couples and our elderly mum who had no option but to sleep on a rock hard very dirty sofa bed at the age of 75 yrs old, the carpets were so badly stained it was dirty and disgusting, the soap suds while in the shower came up out of the grid on the bathroom floor itself, the kitchen was equipped with only 3 cups, 3 pieces of cutlery. We called the manager in charge which I presume was the owner and all they offered us when we explained the sleeping conditions was we have another apar**ent for 1 of your couples but it will cost you an additional couple of hundred dollars per night,which we replied no way we have paid well over $1,000 for this which definitely is NOT worth the money at all. he kept saying but if you rent a place in this location it will cost you that a month, I’m like hang on we paid this price for 3 nights not a month, he bought the price of the additional apar**ent down to around $150 per night we still said no and he said well there is nothing we can do. We suffered the 3 nights but NEVER AGAIN, and I would definitely NOT NEVER recommend to anyone at all not even a couple of people because it was dirty and an awful nights sleep. Don’t get me wrong the hotel it’s situated in is lovely bright and clean, but by god when we opened the apar**ent door we thought omg I wouldn’t put my dog in there, we would have booked elsewhere if it wasn’t for the price we paid for it. So people I would AVOID at all costs I’m sorry, I wish I had read the reviews before my sister had booked this hell hole. I’ve posted pictures of soap suds out of the floor, dirty stained carpet, filthy shower curtain and sofa bed
