Great location, staff friendly & helpful. Away from the traffic noise. Nice clean rooms, good restaurants nearby

Massive Thank you to Michelle, Sue and Kirsty (Manager) I always feel so welcome when I go back to the hotel and what I like is that they remember me and I've seen the same with other people who visit as well I had to make a quick call just to check on something and Kirsty answered and it was lovely with, oh its lovely your coming back, if you need anything please let me know. This is what customer care is all about and to me, speaks volume and why I've returned on a number of occasions and also this time booked with 2 other people The rooms are extremely clean and the whole place smells, feels and looks clear and fresh. Thank you so much for agian a great stay.

One night stopover with the two dogs, clean quiet and helpful staff member called Cazzie even pointed out a park to us to take the dogs to in the morning for a wander.

After finishing a long drive I needed a good rest. I had already booked on the easy to use app, the room price was exceptionally reasonable. Carpark was well lit and clean. Receptionist, Maureen was great and went through things in a professional manner. My room was clean. Bed was most comfortable, in fact I overslept. So comfortable room I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had a journey ahead of me. Check out was simple and easy. Highly recommend. Maureen you made the stay outstanding, well done. A true professional. Thank you, thank you so much.

A great hotel, with great staff, let down by a few items that could be fixed easily. Black out curtains didn't fit the window so let light in all around, shower/body wash not working and doors banging through the night as soft close not working

Very good value hotel in an excellent location, close to Darlington, Toby next door. Room clean and well maintained. Receptionist Michelle was really welcoming and friendly and she was very helpful in getting us the most suitable room for us. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well situated for local amenities, the town centre and further afield. The room we occupied had been refurbished and,, in particular, the bathroom was of a higher standard than other Travelodges we have stayed in recently. Car parking is plentiful and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is good value for money.

Stayed as we were travelling through to go to a wedding. The lady who greeted us was very friendly. I think her name was Kezz? Even came out of rec to show us the key. They had decorated for Easter which our son liked. Free parking was great as lots of spaces. We appreciated very much the email that the hotel sent to us ref the postcode before our arrival. We had used the postcode off the website in the directions section (maybe the website could be updated in the directions section?) I had called Thurs morning to confirm the booking and the lady wasn't friendly and told me ill call you back I'm with another customer. I gave her my name but she never asked for my number and never called me back. Would have given a 4 dot but the lady who checked us in Thurs made it up. Room was very clean thankyou to housekeeping. We saw a younger lady in the corridor when we were checking out Fri morning. She smiled as we left too which was nice that she didnt ignore us. Would return if in the area

Fabulous service. Easy check in and even when I forgot my phone charger and Maureen went out of her way to help me, lending me one! It was so helpful when I was tired and weary. Also pointed me in the direction of a local corner shop to grab some stuff late in a bank holiday evening.
