"I recently visited with 2 of my family to enjoy a weekend away visiting Beamish and Yorkshire. On arrival we were met by 2 lovely friendly ladies, Tracy and Angela who helped us to check in. I asked if they supplied decaf tea and coffee in the room and they immediately found me some sachets. We had booked 2 rooms and my room was lovely and clean and warm. Unfortunately on the first night I had a disturbed night's sleep as there was a constant droning sound which appeared to be coming from the vent in the ceiling. I mentioned this to Anthony (who was working on reception that morning) as I was not looking forward to being kept awake for a second night. Anthony knew exactly where the noise was coming from and he told me that there was a switch in the ceiling which would turn the machine off which was causing the noise and he went to my room straight away. I was pleased by this and that night the room was in total silence and I had an excellent nights sleep. Also the Silentnight Premier Inn mattress which was on the bed, was so comfortable, I am thinking of buying one for home."

"A flying visit for a quick drink; the first chance I have had to pop back since my legendary karaoke debut some months ago. Chris was MC'ing like a latter-day Noel Edmonds. At 5.00pm on a Monday evening, the place was standing room only. There was bingo, some kind of raffle and...Karaoke! Thank goodness that some traditions persist. They don't serve their own beer any more (sadly) but the Caffrey's I had was perfect - well kept, at the right temperature and at a price I could only dream of back down South. Atmosphere lively and friendly. Amazingly, Chris remembered me. Even more surprisingly, at least one of the bar staff seemed to, as well. It's been months, so that's pretty impressive! Or maybe just professionals being professional. Always a warm welcome, a friendly place - looking forward to my next visit already!"

"Amazingly spacious. Wonderful experience with a really large apartment. We had flat 14 and there were two bedrooms with 5 beds in total, all at least small doubles. There were two bathrooms and a lovely well equipped licence plus a lounge area with a comfy couch. We will be back!"

"Really good location close to Darlington centre, carpark on site, which was very reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly and welcoming The rooms were as expected from a premier inn, it was very clean and I slept extremely well, with no disturbances There is a hungry horse pub next door as well as a nandos if they take your fancy. The town centre is only 5 minutes walk away and has just about everything you need."

"I'm going to leave an honest review that was mine and my partners personal experience here, let's start with this first it's £55 a night stat, so those who expect the Ritz you won't get it for this price. I stayed in room 110 the lift was broken when I attended but wasn't a big deal to be quite honest. Room amenities were exactly what I'd expect for £55 only downside was no hair dryer nor shampoo/shower gel but when I asked the receptionist he gave us some (friendly staff not like other reviews) The bed was comfortable pillow was good in fact I had a good night's sleep, room 110 is facing the busy main road so was noisy if you had both sliding windows open, with the outer open and the inside closed (still allowed fresh air in) was a good sleep. They have a fridge on site for you to store food and a toaster and microwave for your use next to the foyer. They sell pot noddles for you to eat and they have plastic forks if you need one. I was in a triple room even though I booked a double so it was nice. The internet is very below par and when on Facebook as an example it struggles to load videos and or pictures and reconnects alot. The room was clean That being said we will definitely be staying again."
