Lovely place

Beautiful location. Had a wonderful room on the corner with fantastic views. The only issue raised was there was no toilet paper and only one sachet of hot chocolate and a single pack of biscuits so we were unable to have a horrible chocolate and a pack of biscuits each at night. Would stay again and make use of spa facilities. Pool and steam room and sauna were perfect. Food was 5*

A really good hotel in a quiet part of the town. Its a spa hotel with a wide range of spa options. Amazing location and scenery. Good views from the room. It has a pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Would definitely visit again. Amazing parking options.

Return visit for us. Friendly staff, fabulous location and comfortable rooms. It’s like a home from home for us when visiting family. Our only grumble is the weak wifi which comes and goes.

Beautiful place is the lake open for fly fishing want to have a day fishing here can't find any information on Facebook page telephone number not in use was run independently from hotel previously if previous owners finished why don't hotels take it over

Had a great stay, lovely setting. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, any questions dealt with quickly. Loved the spa facilities and pool Had a lovely evening meal, good choice, great food. Room had a view of the lake which was lovely to wake up to. Great location for visits to Hepworth Wakefield and Yorkshire Sculpture park

Attended hotel for a wedding gorgeous venue the canapés and meal delightful room was large and had beautiful views from two windows breakfast lovely service and staff excellent throughout only downside steam room was cold jacuzzi not working but pool and view from pool over lake was stunning

We arrived at Waterton Park just after 2pm and our room was ready for us. This was fabulous as check in was from 3pm. After checking in we went to our room (no 24 on the island) which was beautiful. The room was very palatial with a large 4 poster bed (which was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in!) beautiful cast iron bath and a seating area. The views were stunning from the front and the side windows, overlooking the garden and water. On our arrival there was a wedding party on the lawn which meant this area, and Charlie’s bar were not available to guests until later in the day. Instead we opted to sit outside at the Grand Cafe. We also had our evening meal here and breakfast. The food was lovely and the staff were so friendly. I have to say a big thank you to Kealy in the restaurant. She even joined in on a FaceTime call to my dog, Molly (yes I do this haha). We will definitely be returning and hopefully soon. And Kealy, Molly says ‘Hi!’
