I always stay here when in town - there is only one thing that annoys me, the charge of $200 deposit.
I have already paid for my room in advance - so why am I being charged another $200 that doesnt get recredited to my credit card until the end of the month?
Its not like i could be stealing anything from the fridge - there is no minibar just a little box of milk.
Any room service could be immediately booked against a card.
It just seems a bit dishonest of a hotel to hotel to needlessly hold onto $200 from literally hundreds and hundreds of customers a month.
What guest is going to check their credit card payments the next month to make sure the refund has arrived.
Its really treating guests disrespectfully, telling every guest they are a potential thief snd may checkout with a bedside lamp in their luggage.
Surely the hotel has insurance for actual theft?
A very bad guest experience being asked for this money, especially after already having paid in advance, and being a regular guest!
