"The apartment-style room was spacious and enough for two people. The smell in the room was a bit bothersome, but there was a washing machine, a regular-sized refrigerator, and a unit-type bathtub, so we were able to stay comfortably. It's about a 5-10 minute drive from the CBD, but we had a car so it wasn't a problem, and the location was quiet and nice. There was a morning market held on Saturdays about a 3-minute walk away, and it was fun to look around. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again when I go to Darwin."

"Simple and convenient. In the center of the city, there are two well-known supermarkets where you can eat whatever you want. There are also many restaurants and shops, and it is also very close to the seaside park. You can go and have a look at any time."

"Booked this apartment fora family trip for the Xmas period. Check in was streamline and straightforward. Apartment was clean & roomy. One the second day we noticed aircon in main bedroom and one of the other bedrooms weren’t working and apartment was becoming stuffy as a result. We reported to reception however as it was Xmas eve we knew it was unlikely to be resolved until after the public holidays however we were able to use an adjacent apartment and eventually we were requested to move to the adjacent apartment. It was a slight inconvenience but we moved as we needed working air cons. The air cons in new apt were noisy and external fan on balcony did not work ( & was fixed a couple of days later). Clearly they need to do maintenance checks more often as air cons & fans not working in the tropics isn’t ideal. Reception staff were friendly & attentive."

"Mantra on the Esplanade worked well for us for the three nights we stayed. Close to the main shops and eateries so plenty of choice there, with a free bus to the large out of town shopping centre too. The room was clean and tidy though a little dated. We were at the back of the hotel which meant the music and noise from the pubs and clubs nearby could be heard til quite late though it didn’t keep us awake."

"Very quiet and solid building. Withstood cyclone Tracey in 1974. Old but partly renovated. Budget accommodation. Comfortable bed. Receptionist/Cleaner was very nice. It was windy for the time we were there and the pool only got cleaned the day before we left."

"This hotel is undergoing renovations and is not fit to stay in. I had booked 2 weeks, but upon arrival cancelled. The pool is closed, our room required about 100 yard walk around the poorly lit pathways, then up ramps to the third floor as there were no elevators. The room was sparsely furnished, no robes, toiletries etc. In my opinion they should have closed until the renovations were completed."
