Secure parking was available and I really enjoyed my stay here.
The queen bed was very comfortable and was very pleasant.
I had a tv and wifi in my room.

NNINGThe rooms are spacious and comfortable, the balconies are large and well equipped. Each room and living room has air conditioning and fans. It is extremely practical in the hot Darwin, washing machine dryers and simple tableware, and the roof pool is perfect!

CChoon\ FongGenerally, the hotel serve as a good location for day trips to out of Darwin. There are public parking lots outside the hotel which are free, as there are limited lots within the hotel's open air parking compound except the underground. There are limited amenities except a small pool. The room are very basic but the balcony added a good atmosphere for dining with a view.

GGuest UserOverpriced for the rooms available. Rooms desperately appear to need renewal. Carpets are worn and replacement squares poorly installed. Rusty appliances and door frames.
Good range of quality soaps and lotions.
Staffing shortages and full house meant waiting until roughly 6pm for our room but only one hour late check out...
Tiny rooms with poor outlook unless you go out to the balcony in our room.
I won't return, too many better options around Darwin.

Room was clean and well presented - only grumbles are
＞ no desk chair to use if working in the room
＞ side table next to the bed is small.
Studio rooms are
＞ near the front gate, and so subject to a little noise in the early morning
＞ side-by-side, and back-to-back with each other
One night was not so pleasant as a neighbour seemingly fell asleep to their TV, which was at very high volume, with the noise transferring through the common wall.

GGuest UserGreat location. Basic rooms with comfortable bed. Limited options for breakfast - we eventually found out about the “pool view” cafe in the Novotel (the pool is dry) which had better breakfast options for us as we had small children who only wanted toast and not the buffet breakfast at the Mercure. (We were told it would be $15 for children over 5 (our grandchild is 6) but then other people said they were told it was free.!? Had some trouble with parking - paying guests should be assigned at least 1 car park per room - however this wasn’t the case and we had to park in the “overflow” area across the road and carry our luggage over. Definitely need a car or vehicle to go anywhere. Great new pool but don’t stand on the fake turf on a hot day as it burns your feet! Don’t forget to ask for “Territorian rates” if you are a local - show your drivers licence and get a discount.

DDeborah ElizabethMantra on the Esplanade worked well for us for the three nights we stayed. Close to the main shops and eateries so plenty of choice there, with a free bus to the large out of town shopping centre too. The room was clean and tidy though a little dated. We were at the back of the hotel which meant the music and noise from the pubs and clubs nearby could be heard til quite late though it didn’t keep us awake.
