The rooms were comfortable but I wanted to stay twenty days splitting ten online and ten with cash. He said the online was fine for 1260 pesos but the cash would be 2500 pesos a night and he was so arrogant. I only booked three days and walked down 200 meters to Orchard Hotel. They gave me the same price 1260 pesos book online or cash directly through them. They were super nice and the rooms were just as good as Red Planet. I booked seventeen days directly with them at the desk and I was exstremly happy. They also.said 1260 pesos all in price but charged me an extra 300 pesos per night when I used my debit card. If your looking for comfortable room at an honest price in my opinion please try Orchard Hotel First.

Everything was perfect until the day we were checking out. My wife was denied of getting basic necessity, bottled water, just because we were going to check out that day. I called the front desk and i was told that i had to pay. I showed my annoyance and told her that we were still the hotel guest. At last, we were given 2 bottled water.

Very friendly and efficient staff throughout this hotel. The room, bath and grounds were perfect. Aircon and hot water for shower we’re just right. Breakfast buffet was quite nice and the food staff even provided a full breakfast for us a half hour early as we had an early flight the last day. The salt water swimming pool was grand, surrounded by well kept grounds. The location is just 10 minutes from SM Lanang and 15 minutes from the airport. Our new favorite Davao hotel.

Outside it looks small and uninviting but you’ll be surprised as it is bigger than expected. Stairwell leading to the second and third floor is very well decorated. Super-super clean room, floors and hallways as if you’re transported into a 5-star hotel. Cool blue light sign on the wall of every room. No more “don’t disturb” and “make room” hanging tags that falls off all the time as each room have a touch panel on the inside wall. Just touch the button if you want either sign to light up on the outside of your room. It is Japanese inspired hotel so you can guarantee a touch of Japan everywhere. Room is very spacious for a small hotel. I am super impressed with the customer service too. Included buffet Filipino breakfast is simple, mostly seen cooked at Filipino homes, is very delicious and is truly a must to try. 7/11 convenience store is located on the ground floor of the same building. Barbecue, Shawarma, a few Japanese and a Vietnamese restaurant is located in the same shopping compound. Davao airport is just 2 miles away (110php cab ride on a non-peak hours). Within walking distance too is the Mall (SM Mall) and Damosa shopping district. Laundry is nearby, other restaurants and banks are also within a 5 min walk. Some rooms don’t have windows so request one with a little window if you’re not used to hotels without a window. Its not guaranteed though as they only have a few available.

Neat and clean facility... Kindness of staff I was going to stay for one night and move, but I made a reservation right away for another day~~~^.^ What's better... Food around the hotel is plentiful, and above all Because Starbucks is there... You can drink cold coffee anytime... McDonald's and Yellow Cab are 24 hours. There is also a 7-Eleven, so it's perfect for a late-night snack. Hotel location... Have a good rest..

I wasn’t able to stay in the hotel due to transportation issues. So I request for cancellation however it’s I made my booking for no cancellation and it’s not refundable. Fortunately, I asked them if it’s possible to get a refund and the costumer service was nice enough to accommodate my concern. They gave me a coins corresponds to the price I paid. Stayed at Acacia Hotel Davao for 1 night it was memorable. Since, my family come all the way here from Surigao del Sur. Staff are very accomodating and child-friendly. Transiting through Davao airport and needing a sleepover the OYO 150 Davao Airport view hotel is a great spot to stop over. Very close to the airport, superbly clean and good service. . For travellers there is only one downside. Payment is in cash on arrival. On arrival ask for help from the stake to carry your bad up the stairs to first floor.
