The rooms are clean but very dated, and the furnishings are scratched up. There are no USB ports, which is always a sign of an older hotel. I do appreciate the amenities, but I feel they are not really free. The cost of Drury is higher compared to a lot of the same class hotels so I feel the cost of the freebies are perhaps built in. At least it seems that way. At this particular Drury the pool and hot tub were closed early due to an “accident” according to the staff. I realize things happen, but I chose this hotel over all other nearby hotels specifically for that amenity. I don’t know what they could have done, but it would have been nice to know if they were doing something to open it asap. Overall, I feel that the extra cost is not worth what you actually get. The amenities will not be enough for me to book a Drury again after this experience. I will say the ladies that checked us in and all other staff we encountered were lovely.
