I work at a Marriott hotel and wanted to stay at one for my husband and I's anniversary. I called to speak to a manager to see if this property does amenities, such as a bottle of wine that could be delivered to our room. She said that they didn't do that here, which is fine, however she had an attitude the whole conversation. I also asked if they could put rose petals in the room, stating that it was okay if they couldn't/don't ever do that sort of thing. Once again, she talked to me like I was stupid. She said: ”No, we don't ever do that” and ”You want US to decorate the room?” I understand it is not a premium brand hotel, but that is why I called to see if it was something they do to check. There was no reason for rudeness, especially coming from a manager. I did not catch her name. I believe I did speak to a different employee beforehand, I did not catch his name either, who said to call a manager and that he was sure it was something that could be done. He did not know, which is not his fault. The two starts are for him, he was at least nice.
