Songtsam Benzilan Lodge

We chose Benzilan as our temporary accommodation, which is small, just like Songtsam. Everyone was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The tadpoles we collected at Baishuitai were released into the small pond at Songtsam. It was quiet, and we could listen to the cicadas and watch the moon at night. The breakfast was a set meal, with not many choices but enough.

Songtsam is the first choice for Yunnan. Its quality, service and location are impeccable. Although Benzilan Town does not have many attractions and places to visit, the hotel itself is an excellent travel destination. When you have cherry trees, birdsong, flowing water and snow-capped mountains, you know this is the place to be.

I stayed in four Songtsam during this trip, which felt rather ordinary. It was in a small ******* village, and the scenery was only pastoral. The yard is not big. We can't book a room with large room facilities, and the standard room is a bit small for us. Breakfast has a little variety, but the taste is okay. Since there are only about ten rooms, it was difficult to have a rich breakfast because it was really boring. I asked the front desk and they told us to continue up the mountain along the village road and there were woods and streams. We drove to look for it. It was indeed good and the children had a lot of fun. I'm happy, the water is super cold

Songtsam Benzilan Hotel sells the "Nidin Hiking Product" for 1,280 yuan per person. Officially, it is claimed that the hiking + lunch in the forest lasts 6 hours and is equipped with a butler and guide. However, the actual trip is 1.5 hours (including driving and hiking) + 1 hour for lunch = 2.5 hours. The actual situation is Jiangzi: 🙈It takes 30 minutes each to drive up and down the mountain. The hiking ends unexpectedly, as if I just took a walk downstairs in the community... ….The professional guide has no professional knowledge and no introduction in the whole process. For this high altitude, Benzilan is the lowest altitude place nearby. It was a good stay, and then there were activities in the hotel where you could go hiking, and the whole place was quite beautiful (but we made an appoin**ent with the villagers ourselves, and when we arrived for lunch, we saw the tour guide from LUXE.
