"Once you enter the village you will see the hotel at the right. Field view room is just construction view as everywhere is undergoing construction. Mountain view block by other building. Best view is go out to the cafe facing the lake. Breakfast simple but only start at 8.30am which is late if you want to start out early. Nice that they have tub for foot bath. Bad is that water is limited to 2 bottles only. Must pay RMB 5 for 1 bottle. All other minsu I stayed in China provides unlimited water. The hot water tank they provide has a funny taste. Maybe all this is because of the location."

"We were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Rizhao Jinshan' phenomenon (golden mountain bathed in sunlight)! The hotel's views are absolutely stunning (just ignore that big crane, haha). You get an unobstructed panorama of all thirteen Meili Snow Mountains. The owner was super enthusiastic; as soon as we arrived, he warmly explained the best ways to view the mountains. After showing us to our room, he even turned on the humidifier, oxygen machine, and floor heating for us. The hotel is very clean, and in the morning, you don't even need to go down to the observation deck; you can simply watch the snow-capped peaks from your balcony. The hotel thoughtfully provided large, thick blankets, which was a very nice touch."

"This best hotel I stayed during my Yunnan trip. The room is nice and clean. The staffs are helpful and friendly. There are many activities can be done during the stay too. There is a cute cat you can play with too. The breakfast is nice. It is a relaxing stay. Meili snow mountain is just right in front of us. Sadly, we couldn’t see golden mountain due to cloudy day. Overall is great. The only complaint is the drainage in bathroom is very slow, the water will flood up after awhile of showers."

"Due to the weather, there weren't many tourists during this May Day holiday. To our surprise, the weather gods favored us! It was raining when we arrived the first night, but by the next morning, it had cleared up, and we got to see the majestic Meili Snow Mountain, which I'd been dreaming of! The hotel itself is grand, and the service is excellent. The customer service representative even upgraded our room, so we could enjoy the snowy view of Meili Snow Mountain right from our bed. Definitely a big thumbs-up!"

"Minibar: This hotel offered the most drinks and snacks out of all the hotels I stayed at on this trip. ROCK | Welcome Tea All-You-Can-Drink: Tea time treats, including drinks, pastries, fruits, and icy jelly, were delivered to the room – truly abundant. ROCK | Exclusive Energy Boost: Free hiking gear provided. Currently, there are hotels being built directly in front and to the right of Stone Rock, so looking out from the hotel room, all you see is a messy construction site. The muddy path from the village entrance to the hotel door significantly impacted the check-in experience, but it's understandable. They upgraded my room type to try and salvage the experience, and what's commendable are the soap dish (most hotels provide free soap but rarely a soap dish, a very thoughtful detail), Dyson hairdryer, and record player. Suggestions for improvement: Inform guests about the entrance route in advance (it's very hidden), and add more hangers (only two are really not enough)."

"Our first stop on this trip was Linka B&B. It boasts a prime location in Benzilan, overlooking the winding Jinsha River gorge. The rooms are spacious, and the family's orchard offers free pears. Our host, Sister Ramu, is genuinely kind and treats us to delicious meals daily. We visited Nidingdongla Ranch, where she picked porcini mushrooms and made a delicious hot pot that evening. She suggested taking the old road to Feilai Temple, where the scenery is breathtaking. Before we left, she called me and asked me to wait at the intersection, where she had prepared cactus fruit for the children to try. The children missed Sister Ramu, saying they loved this B&B and didn't want to go anywhere else."

"I booked the Yunshu, room F02, and I highly recommend this room type. The location is absolutely perfect, right above the Meili road sign. Personally, I think the view of the snow-capped mountains from the room is even better than from the Feilai Temple viewing platform downstairs. The floor-to-ceiling window next to the sofa in the room directly faces the Shennü Peak, and you can also see Kawagebo, though unfortunately, the weather wasn't good on the day I was there, so I missed out on that. The room also provides a tripod, which you can set up on the balcony for photos. The afternoon tea was also great; I absolutely loved the sour tamarind iced Americano. We also had dinner on the first floor (basement), and the food was delicious with generous portions. The staff were all very friendly and even gave us a special souvenir, a cute little cup, when we left. It's a shame we didn't get to see the 'golden mountains in the sun' due to the weather. I'll definitely come back in winter. See you next time, Meili Shiqi! 🤜"

"Modern beautiful hotel with a full view of meili snow mountain. located right next to the official viewing deck! staff were welcoming - provided us tea upon arrival, brought us to our room and allowed us to choose between 2 views since there was space! they also helped us navigate the room, how to use the various amenities like the humidifier and oxygen machine. toiletries were fully provided for! the night time sweet soup was also soothing to have. these rooms I believe have no air con but it worked for us as the weather was very cool. the option for a heater was there. breakfast had a choice of 2 types of noodles, and a little buffet bar, with a great view too! overall recommend this space for a stay!"
