Hua Zong specially arranged a special car to welcome us to the store, and carefully prepared breakfast, road meals and dinner, which were convenient and delicious. He also prepared hiking poles, crampons, etc., which came in handy when hiking on the ice lake line👍👍

MM30002****The facilities are complete and new, with underfloor heating and oxygen supply, and it's very clean. If you arrive by bus, the hotel offers a shuttle service from the drop-off point, and the service is impeccable. It's highly recommended for watching the sunrise over the ”Golden Mountain” at Feilai Temple. You can directly photograph the stunning ”Golden and Silver Mountains” from the hotel's fourth-floor terrace in the morning and evening. If it gets cold, you can just step into the cafe for a hot tea, avoiding the crowds and shivering at the observation deck. It's a fantastic experience. (For room types, the right-side rooms on the third floor are more recommended, as there's a red light sign opposite that stays on, which might affect your view of the ”Silver Mountain” at night.)

The design is truly beautiful and full of cultural charm, with a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains - especially at sunrise. I really fell in love with the atmosphere here: cozy, calm, modern yet deeply rooted in local culture. It felt like a true vacation home, the perfect place to unwind after long days of traveling. I could see the mountains right from my balcony, but the best view is from the coffee area on the 4th floor. I also got to try several traditional activities during my stay, which made the experience even more memorable. The food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner - and despite the cold weather, the room stayed warm and incredibly comfortable. The hotel has everything you could possibly need, so you don’t even have to step outside. I'll definitely come back someday just for a relaxing getaway!

MM271958****Daluzhiye Wunongding was the guesthouse we were most looking forward to on this trip, and one of the few pet-friendly guesthouses in Wunongding. Even with high expectations, the experience still had many delightful surprises.
First and foremost, the service deserves immense praise. From the moment we parked the car, every request we made, and even those we hadn't thought of, was met. From room service to dining and daily necessities, our three-day, two-night stay was perfect. I've stayed at many guesthouses and hotels that claim to offer butler service, and this one is arguably among the best. Our butler, 'Chuntian' (Spring), provided meticulous care, so outstanding she could be nominated for 'China's Top 10 Most Touching Butlers.' If you're lucky enough to have her during your stay, you're in for a treat.
Moving from service to facilities, we paid extra to upgrade to the room with the best view in the entire building, and it was absolutely worth every penny. The room's furnishings (both fixed and movable), bedding, underfloor heating, humidifier, hairdryer, and other appliances were all impeccable. Plus, it offered a perfect view of the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' right from the bed. I highly recommend choosing the Fanjing King Room if it's within your budget [Strongly recommend]
Finally, the dining deserves commendation. We had two dinners at the hotel and ordered various dishes, and almost none were disappointing. The spicy chicken and Iberico pork were especially superb – I never expected such excellent food in such a remote location. Considering the environment, the value for money was quite high. Breakfast was also unexpectedly abundant. While most items were pre-selected, I preferred this refined set menu over buffets that offer many choices but generally mediocre taste, especially the excellent rice noodles! The complimentary special drinks offered to guests at the 4th-floor cafe in the evening are also worth savoring.
Overall, this was almost a flawless living experience. We initially chose the pet-friendly Daluzhiye because we were traveling with our cat, and now it seems we owe all this wonderful experience to our feline friend 🐱. Although there were a few minor shortcomings, such as the widely mentioned construction next door affecting the view, these did not overshadow the overall excellence. Daluzhiye Wunongding is still an excellent guesthouse I would wholeheartedly recommend to friends, and if one day I return to Wunongding with my family, this will remain my only choice.

PPuffyTian🥰 This was my first time in Wunongding Village, Deqin. The village is developing, yet it remains restrained and hasn't been overly commercialized. The Deqin Meli Podu Hotel respectfully blends with the local environment and the snowy mountain landscape.
🏔️ The architecture subtly enhances the snowy mountain views while offering diverse framing through various openings, making even repeated encounters with Meili Snow Mountain feel fresh. The interior incorporates ******* elements without being overdone, and the details are captivating. I particularly loved the design of the mirrors reflecting the snowy mountains and the yak fur blankets.
☺️ My stay was full of pleasant surprises: Le Labo fragrance in the lobby, white hada for a welcome, Bvlgari toiletries, and thoughtful touches like various face masks, eye masks, and snacks. The breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. It's one of the best hotel experiences I've had in the ******* region so far, definitely worth revisiting.

Aawan27From the moment I planned this trip, I had a feeling it would be a very special New Year's Eve, but I never imagined it would be so wonderful and perfect. I saw the snow-capped mountains, exceptionally white after a fresh snowfall, the mountains glowing in the night under a silver moon, and on the first day of 2026, the mountains gradually turning red with the sunrise and then shimmering with golden light. Every form of the snow-capped mountains was just breathtaking. But beyond the mountains, what made this trip so wonderful was every cup of ginger tea brought to us, the documentaries screened each evening, the names and origins of each star in the night sky, the New Year's Eve fireworks, the butter lamps we made, every photo taken for us, and the waiting, pick-up, and companionship from our arrival to our departure. A huge thank you to every member of the Jixia Mountain team for taking such great care of us. These two days were incredibly memorable and blissful. I will definitely be back again in the future.

I'm so glad I booked a room with a snow view at this hotel. It was a very cost-effective choice for a solo traveler. When it's time to enjoy life, you should go for it; you only live once. Let this brief freedom be a seasoning for an ordinary life, giving yourself the courage for a better one.
The hotel service was excellent; everyone was very attentive to me since I was traveling alone, and they even gave me a small ornament when I left. The room was spacious and elegant, very comfortable to stay in. The diffused oxygen supply also worked well, although I tend to get nervous easily and still went to the hospital to breathe some oxygen for a while. Actually, there's no need to be too afraid of altitude sickness; most symptoms can be relieved at the hospital. Most importantly, the hotel's 5th-floor observation deck is fantastic. You don't need to crowd with people at the Wunongding viewpoint. I left my camera at the hotel to shoot a time-lapse and went to take some portraits. Plus, watching the starry sky and waiting for the sunrise with friends from all corners of the world at the hotel was truly a romantic experience.
Finally, regarding the mountain views, this was a completely successful trip. From sunset to high noon, I was honored to witness the diverse charm of Meili Snow Mountain. On the first evening, as the vehicle drove out of National Highway 214, I caught sight of the thirteen peaks of Meili. Clouds drifted slowly, and the sun gradually set. Soon after, the Milky Way hung low above Mt. Miancimu, and Comet Lemmon descended towards Mt. Bawu Bameng, creating a starry night. Under the stars, the Winter Triangle appeared even more captivating, adorned with the Taurus meteor shower, making the night sky seem like a dream. As night deepened and the moon rose, the crescent moon stubbornly illuminated the snow-capped mountains, casting a faint pearly white glow. Until dawn, the sky transformed from blue to pink, heralding the arrival of a new day. At daybreak, the first ray of sunlight illuminated the peak of Kawagarbo, and the legendary 'Sunlight on Golden Mountain' passionately displayed Meili's grandeur. Once the golden light covered all thirteen peaks, the contours of the snow mountain were clearly outlined, and the most beautiful snow mountain finally revealed its perfect form. The mountain doesn't speak, but people have wishes; Meili just stands quietly, inspiring endless imagination. After the crowds receded, the snow mountain returned to its pristine white, and strolling through Wunongding, watching the mountains, listening to the wind, and playing with cats, offered another kind of pleasure.
People say that seeing the 'Sunlight on Golden Mountain' brings good luck for the whole year. A year is too long; I only know that at this moment, I have captured the happiness of life.

MM222043****The room experience was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Wunongding. You can photograph the 'sunlit golden mountains' directly from the large fifth-floor terrace, without needing to go to crowded observation decks. The rooms are clean and tidy, with oxygen supply and floor heating. The front desk staff (both the ladies and gentlemen) had an excellent service attitude. It's truly heartwarming that the hotel even offers breakfast at an altitude of over 3,000 meters on the plateau.

The guesthouse owner's little dog seems to be Paopao, the internet-famous dog; she even led the way for us and is incredibly perceptive! What's more, in Yubeng, a place I've always longed to visit, I managed to capture some truly once-in-a-lifetime photos! The 12-bed dorm room was very spacious. With fewer guests these past few days, our stay was incredibly comfortable. From the room, you get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, and it's also conveniently close to the Ice Lake trailhead. I'll definitely bring my friends back to stay here next time!
