Perfect
MMax_S02Firstly, this has to be one of the nicest places which I stayed at in Yunnan, or in China for that matter. You may be thinking that is price is good to be true, but this place performs well above what is to be expected of that price range. I was originally planning to stay elsewhere in Benzilan, but am very glad that I stayed here.
The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and wooden furniture. The view out of my window was very green and calming. The amenities were all well-maintained and very clean. The pictures really don't do the rooms the justice that they deserve.
Secondly, and very importantly, the owner - a young Benzilan local who operates the hotel with his mother - is exceptionally kind, genuine and friendly. As a solo traveller, he helped organise transport, offered lunch, and even some of the local liquor. As far as service goes, this place remains unbeaten amongst all the places I've travelled in China.
The hotel overlooks the mountains surrounding Benzilan. In the evening, you can peacefully sit outside the hotel on its elevated terrace and quietly watch the mountains as the sun goes down.
I would not hesitate to stay again.

QqiannanwgExtremely satisfied! I rarely write such long reviews. The owners are absolutely wonderful! The female owner is so kind, and the male owner is adorable! They took us stargazing and to see the moonlit silver mountains, then in the morning, they showed us the 'sunlit golden mountains' (sunrise on the snow-capped peaks). They also provided pick-up and drop-off services. The room was amazing, with great quality and aesthetic appeal, and it even had an elevator. The location is convenient for getting anywhere, but it's not in a noisy area. There's a large parking lot with many charging stations. Seriously, just book it, ladies!

GGuest UserFirst off, I have to say, this guesthouse is destined to be a hit! I'd been planning my trip to Meili Snow Mountain for a long time, did a lot of research, and ultimately decided to stay in Feilai Peak.
There were quite a few hotel and guesthouse options around Feilai Peak, but I eventually settled on this guesthouse with zero negative reviews.
1. **Transportation:** The guesthouse is less than a 10-minute walk from the Feilai Peak parking lot. The national highway is now fully paved, making it an easy walk. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the Feilai Peak observation deck, where you can see the 'Golden Sun on Snow Mountains' phenomenon – very convenient.
2. **Facilities:** The room facilities are brand new because it's a recently opened establishment. They are very modern, with oxygen supply, electric blankets, heaters, and heated toilet seats, all readily available. I was truly surprised by how advanced everything was.
3. **Food:** We weren't arriving at the guesthouse until almost 10 PM, and I was initially wondering how we'd get dinner. To my surprise, the guesthouse offers a variety of meals, and the selection is very rich. Guests even get a 15% discount, and the owner personally delivered our food to the room. The taste was excellent!
4. **Personal Touch:** The main reason I'd recommend everyone stay here is the incredible hospitality from the owners. From the moment we checked in, the proprietress informed us of the 'Golden Sun on Snow Mountains' viewing times, helped us with our luggage and storing our suitcases, and even turned on the oxygen and electric blankets in our room. Because we spent a bit longer admiring the snow mountains the next day, the proprietress patiently waited for us to return and prepared a lavish rice noodle breakfast, complete with eggs, hot soy milk, and fruit. It was incredibly thoughtful and touching.
Finally, I want to say that travel isn't just about enjoying beautiful scenery; it's also about experiencing the local culture and people. From the owners, I felt their warmth, kindness, and attentiveness. At this price, not only is the accommodation great value for money, but the human touch is truly priceless. I wish the owners all the best!

MM524739****This guesthouse in Meili Snow Mountain is run by a couple. We arrived at Feilai Temple at 9:30 PM, and the owner drove to pick us up. The lobby is a large, beautiful conservatory. We were amazed when we entered our room; I've truly never stayed in such a spacious room before. It had natural wood-toned floors, a smart toilet, and an oxygen concentrator – this was the first hotel with an oxygen concentrator I've stayed in during my week in Yunnan! The curtains were fully automatic, and there was a huge floor-to-ceiling window. On the 27th, we went to the Feilai Temple observation deck at 6 AM, and the proprietress was already waiting at the door to drive us. Unfortunately, it was cloudy today, so we didn't see it. When we got back to the guesthouse, the proprietress had already prepared breakfast: rice noodles, potatoes, eggs, pancakes, and butter tea. We could ask for more if we needed it. She also chatted with us a lot, telling us local stories and customs, and advising us on the best time to visit for better views. This Shangri-La trip was truly fantastic! The locals are incredibly warm and welcoming. Even though we didn't see the snow-capped mountains, you can't be lucky all the time. We'll definitely come back next time and stay at this guesthouse again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is super close to the observation deck, about a 3-minute walk away. What really stood out was how incredibly clean and cozy the room was. You could tell the hotel owner had turned on the underfloor heating beforehand because it was wonderfully warm when I walked in. The disposable toiletries were also really comprehensive and high-end, especially the toothbrush. It's rare for a hotel to even provide mouthwash! The oxygen supply equipment was also excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, this hotel is definitely worth recommending – it's fantastic!

AAnonymous UserThey say you might not see the ”Golden Mountain in the Sun” in October, so I booked this place to avoid wasting money on a view that might not deliver. Turns out, we actually saw it! Super worth it!! The location is right next to where the bus drops you off, so it's a very easy walk, and close to the Feilai Temple viewing platform. The room was unbelievably spacious, and the underfloor heating worked perfectly. There are only four or five rooms, and the view is absolutely stunning. The owner is very simple and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this for anyone hoping to catch the Golden Mountain but worried about a wasted 4-hour drive if they miss it. The accommodation quality is easily more than triple that of other scenic hotels at the same price point, and the courtyard itself can help ease any disappointment if you don't see the sunrise.
Let's talk about the downsides:
1. Feilai Temple is currently under construction, so there are large vehicles at night. I personally wasn't bothered by the noise, but I can't guarantee others wouldn't be. This seems to be a common issue for hotels along this road.
2. The room was very clean and tidy, but I wasn't a fan of the air freshener scent. My partner didn't notice it, though.
3. There were some really large flies. I hope the owner can improve pest control. Although they'll probably freeze to death in a few days, seeing them definitely puts a damper on the mood.

GGuest UserNot far from the trekking starting point, making it convenient to get around on foot. The decor is simple yet appealing, with excellent natural light and views from every corner. The thoughtful details truly stand out: oxygen supply, hot water, and self-service laundry facilities, which were very handy for changing clothes after a hike. The service is unobtrusive and sincere, making you feel as comfortable as if you were at home. For anyone visiting Yubeng, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

JJune73This was the best stay during my trip to Yunnan. The boss and his wife were very friendly, they kept asking what else we need and helped to carry our luggage to the 4th floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. They have heating bed and floor. If i would come to Feilaisi again i would definitely choose this hotel again.

MM485771****I struck gold with this amazing B&B for my Yubeng trip! First off, the views are absolutely unbeatable. Every morning, I'd wake up, pull back the curtains, and there were the snow-capped mountains right in front of me. In the evenings, I'd catch stunning sunsets. Just sitting anywhere felt incredibly peaceful. Now, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk attendant – her service was genuinely fantastic! She was so enthusiastic and thoughtful, helping us with our luggage, getting our room sorted, and even proactively sharing some lesser-known Yubeng tips with us. She reminded us what to bring for our hikes and even managed to reserve a room with our preferred orientation. She was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, and it made us feel so welcome. I truly recommend this place; great views, great service, and an all-around perfect experience!

GGuest UserFor the cheapest place in the village it was very good. They make nice food that you can enjoy next to the fire place. It did get pretty cold in the whole building, so maybe not the place for luxury.
