Location: Right in the heart of Xia Village, very convenient. It has a whole courtyard and is directly opposite the entrance to the mountain trails, leading to Shennv Peak and Wuguan Peak, offering spectacular views. Facilities: Everything is brand new. The room is beautiful, with large floor-to-ceiling windows facing the snow-capped mountains. You can wake up to the stunning golden peaks illuminated by the sunrise every morning, right from your bed. Service: Absolutely outstanding! The butler was always responsive and all arrangements were perfectly executed. The hotel's food, whether it was breakfast, afternoon tea, or even the packed lunch, was incredibly delicious. Even the sandwiches in the packed lunch were thoughtfully prepared and tasted great. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, every single item tasted wonderful. Dinner was also excellent. Dining at the hotel during your stay is pure joy. Overall, this was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at throughout our trip. The room has underfloor heating, so no worries about being cold after a hike. The shower water was also very comfortable, and they even provided an electric fan for ventilation. Staying here, facing the snow-capped mountains, truly felt like a genuine vacation.

My stay in Yubeng was absolutely fantastic, I have to rave about it! The guesthouse has a high-end feel with excellent amenities, and it's spotlessly clean. Both the views and the living experience were great. The staff were consistently kind and attentive, always looking out for hikers. Yesterday, I got drenched and felt cold on the way back from the Shenpu trail. As soon as I got back to the guesthouse, they immediately offered me cold medicine, which was incredibly thoughtful. The common area offers complimentary freshly ground coffee; it's aromatic and delicious, perfect for a pick-me-up after a hike. Every time before we headed out, the owner would prepare bottled water and snacks for our hike. The service is genuine and attentive. With both great facilities and excellent service, this guesthouse is my top recommendation for Yubeng! Oh, and please remember to fix the showerhead 🚿

When I booked the room, it was advertised as a ”room with a view.” In reality, every morning at 7:30 AM, I'd open all the electric curtains (without turning on the lights) and lie in bed watching the sunrise gild Kawagebo Peak. In the evenings, I'd marvel as the pink sunset clouds, like cotton candy, enveloped me. Once the glow faded, I'd spend an hour gazing at the starry sky, feeling like I'd captured the entire cosmos in my heart. Absolutely breathtaking. (To circle back) I received a call from the hotel saying they'd pick me up at Ninong Parking Lot 🅿️ and help with my backpack – a complimentary service. (For me, it was incredible; though I personally found this service a bit counter-intuitive.) If it hadn't been for the kind young man who carried my backpack, I would have given up on the discouraging slope leading to the ticket office, feeling a bit embarrassed to quit. (If you stay at this hotel, you don't need to bring trekking poles; they provide them, so I didn't bring mine.) Every morning at 8:30 AM, after enjoying the golden sunrise on the mountain, I'd head to breakfast. The nutritious and balanced breakfast, complete with a friendly little cat (this particularly clingy cat is named Er Pao, and she's a new mom!), prepared me for exploring the various hiking trails. I was thoroughly impressed with the room's amenities (elegant yet understated). I loved sitting on the warm carpet, sipping tea, reading a book, listening to music, and basking in the sun – perfect! I truly didn't want to leave, savoring this most serene time in a secluded paradise. Every encounter is a blessing. Looking back, it was truly the best gift. Many thanks to the three young men for their hard work. They appear when needed and ”disappear” when solitude is desired.

Traveling from Deqin to Shangri-La, I didn't want to rush, so I chose this as a stopover. I love this kind of boutique luxury hotel, where all the guests are soft-spoken. The hotel faces the Jinsha River, and the riverside pool is perfect for photos. The room was spacious enough, and the facilities were very well-maintained, as if the hotel had just opened. The breakfast at the restaurant was very extensive and delicious. What deserves the most praise is every single hotel employee I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant staff—each person's smile was so warm, like the gentle morning glow.

Cozy place with a warm hospitality. Sharing this for the benefit for other guests; However, do note that currently, the road up to yubeng village is undergoing maintenance hence we'd need to hike a brutal 16km up from ninong carpark. The distance from lower yubeng to upper yubeng is another 2.3km uphill. Fortunately, there are pick up cars which can pick you up from rest stop 2 to upper yubeng (which i've only found out from one of the kind staff when i arrived), which means you can take a pick up truck down to rest stop 2 if you would like to conserve energy for other hikes at the yubeng village. Please feel free to enquire with the friendly staff! Breakfast variety could also be improved instead of only 米线... Would be good if coffee could be served for breakfast too...

The view in the room is spectacular. You can see the view of the snow mountain and lush green mountains while taking a bath or in bed. It was the most wonderful stay for us. The room also came with all the amenities needed, equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a Smeg kettle, which seems very suitable for the price. They also provide a free laundry service, which they will deliver clean clothes by your door in the morning. Beverages including water, soft drinks, coffee and tea are all included and can be provided as much as you need. They also prepared us sandwiches for us to take for our day hike. The young lady at the front desk, who is also a barista, took very good care of us. She is always active on Wechat for any requests we may have. She also kindly helped us to arrange a van to pick us up from Ninong to Feilaisi. Definitely a rewarding stay after long hikes!

The hotel is very well-equipped and has an excellent location. There are no other guesthouses operating nearby, only ones under construction. From the hotel's fifth-floor terrace, you can see the Meili Thirteen Peaks. If it's cold, there's a stove for heating in the glass room, and phone holders are even provided on the terrace! The staff were also accommodating to our needs, warming up the food we brought ourselves in the evening! By the way, the hotel only offers breakfast; no other meals are available, and you'll need to go to a restaurant about a kilometer away. However, it's only a 200-meter walk to the One Tree at Wunongding. The hotel features a dispersed oxygen supply and skirting board heating. It wasn't cold in June, and we even had a sweet white fungus soup delivered to our room in the evening. There are commercial washing machines and dryers, which work very quickly! Parking is right at the hotel entrance, and they'll help carry your luggage to your room! There's also an elevator, so no need to climb stairs.

This is the perfect place to stay in Upper Yubeng Village. It's located right at the start of the trails to Nisai Glacier and Glacier Lake. The breakfast was delicious and was customized for our vegetarian diet. They gave us lunch sandwiches every morning to take on our hikes. The room was well-stocked with water, fruit, and milk. They cleaned our laundry for us on request in just a couple of hours. We accidentally broke a coffee mug, and they replaced it for free. They actually washed our coffee mugs every day, which no other hotel seems to do. Finally, why I'd give this place six stars if I could: on our final day in Yubeng Village, we checked out and started hiking out toward Ninong. We accidentally left one of our phones in the hallway outside our room. The hotel manager noticed and immediately sent a runner to deliver the phone to us on the trail, almost a kilometer away. We tried to tip them but they adamantly refused, so all we can do is say thank you!
