The most surprising thing about this trip to Yubeng was to choose the Slow Mountain Hotel. The location is in Yubeng Village. The view of the room is really amazing. You can face the snow-capped mountains directly when you sit in the house. The scenery is unobstructed. It is completely beyond expectations that the food in the store is very appetizing. It is really rare to eat such a delicious meal in the mountains where the transportation of materials is inconvenient. The store especially knows hiking tourists. In addition to exquisite afternoon tea, you can also change to hiking meals. His burger must be tried. The filling is solid and tastes great. It is just right to replenish energy on the mountain road. The comfort of high-altitude accommodation is full, the room is equipped with oxygen supply equipment, humidifier, and small whole house smart, no need to manually switch lights and adjust equipment, live easily and worry-free. The service details are particularly poking people. The staff will take the initiative to call to confirm our arrival time before check-in and make arrangements in advance. The room also prepared a foot bath bucket, which was sore for a few days on foot. After soaking at night, the fatigue of the feet disappeared and the warmth was full. From just arriving at the store to checking in, to three meals, every staff member in the store is gentle and enthusiastic, and the demand is very fast. The whole trip was comfortable, satisfied, and the scenery was excellent. There was no slot. After that, a friend came to Yubeng. I will definitely recommend Slow Mountain!

I rarely write reviews, but I can't wait to give a good review this time. This is the most worthwhile day of this trip. It is the most textured hotel in Yubeng, and the decoration is very impressive. The Marshall speakers and Dyson toiletries in the room are also very nice. The service is very good. Basically, everything you need can be provided, such as moisturizing masks, fascia guns, oxygen, etc. Afternoon tea and breakfast are very rich and delicious, which is rare in Yubeng, a place with scarce supplies. There is a bar in the public area, with many types of whiskey and wine. I ordered a glass of Yamazaki and the atmosphere was really good when sitting in the lobby. I also want to thank the hotel for upgrading our room type. The view is great. I can completely relax here after a day of hiking.

This was truly a moving stay! We checked in during Chinese New Year, and because of a flight delay, we didn't arrive until after midnight. The owner came out in the middle of the night to help us with our luggage, turned on the oxygen machine for us, and even brought us instant noodles – absolutely thoughtful! What was even more touching was when they later found out we wanted to go to the observation deck the night before to secure a parking spot. They proactively offered to pick us up, knowing that walking would involve an uphill climb and be quite tiring. My goodness, they offered to pick us up! Even though it was only a 5-minute walk, with the altitude and the climb, the owner's thoughtfulness was incredible and brought tears to my eyes. Getting back to the point, the hotel's location is excellent. The rooftop terrace goes without saying, and the interior of the guesthouse is also absolutely amazing. I rarely write reviews, but I'm doing it for these two amazing concierges. They were both incredibly responsible and helpful. On our way out of the village, we even saw one of them going back to the village entrance to help another guest carry their luggage in. The round trip just to enter and exit the village takes ten hours! This job seems incredibly tough, and I really hope the boss gives them a raise 😕. The hotel environment is also very good, but the location isn't ideal. It's situated between Upper and Lower Yubeng, so every time we returned to the hotel, we were exhausted, and there aren't many dining options nearby.

The view in the room is spectacular. You can see the view of the snow mountain and lush green mountains while taking a bath or in bed. It was the most wonderful stay for us. The room also came with all the amenities needed, equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a Smeg kettle, which seems very suitable for the price. They also provide a free laundry service, which they will deliver clean clothes by your door in the morning. Beverages including water, soft drinks, coffee and tea are all included and can be provided as much as you need. They also prepared us sandwiches for us to take for our day hike. The young lady at the front desk, who is also a barista, took very good care of us. She is always active on Wechat for any requests we may have. She also kindly helped us to arrange a van to pick us up from Ninong to Feilaisi. Definitely a rewarding stay after long hikes!

The room was nice, with a view of the Jinsha River. Ms. Cili Quzhui was very kind, helping with our luggage and teaching us crafts. However, there were some areas for improvement. During breakfast, a female manager was giving a lecture to the staff while they ate. Listening to them lecture you while eating was a very poor experience. Also, the tableware used by previous guests wasn't cleared away promptly. The service staff were generally very good, but this particular incident was a disappointment.

New hotel with smart amenities, room is spacious, can see Baima mountain from outside the room. There’s an oxygen concentrator that helps with high altitude sickness. They also served sweet soup for supper and helped with the luggage because there isn’t a lift. The walk to the viewing platform is about 10minutes, which is not too far. We managed to catch the spectacular view of Meili during sunrise.

It’s a warm and cozy stay, making you feel at home at upper yubeng. Hotel is located just right by the start of the ice lake trial, so it’s very convenient. You’d get to enjoy the snow mountain view right outside your window! It gets cold at night during winter but there is an electric heater, floor and bathroom heating so you’d stay warm. There’s some hearty Cantonese dishes for you to order for dinner. Our stay comes with free breakfast and it’s a huge portal — enough to fuel you up for your hikes. They also provided us a sandwich to bring to go and eat on the hike! They also provide hiking poles and crampons if you did not bring them. Highly recommend for your stay at upper yubeng!
