Perfect
One of the most hospitable and comfortable stays om our trip!! The homestay is run by a young family and right from the beginning we were greeted warmly and felt very welcomed the entire stay. They even invited us to join them for their dinner at the homestay and cooked us a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this place for those staying in Benzilan as it also offers an amazing view.

Pricey but everything is high quality down to the free mini bar drinks. The design is highly beautiful and thoughtful. Its restaurant was one of the best meals I had in Yunnan, snd breakfast was good as well. It is only 18 rooms giving the hotel a very relaxed atmosphere. Location is quite remote, which is great in that case. I have seen others in the area and was more than happy with this part to look at the mountains. All is founded in very helpful staff that went the extra mile. The windows could be cleaned better to give one room for improvement 😉

A beautiful, design-focused hotel offering panoramic views of Meili Snow Mountain from the room’s balcony. The bathroom is a bit small in the room. But I really enjoyed having hotpot dinner at their restaurant while taking in the mountain views. The observatory deck is right across the hotel.

The service is super nice, they have pick up service from Deqin tunnel to the hotel. Hosts are friendly who ask whether you need help often. The location is sick, you can directly see the snow mountain from the balcony. That would save loads of energy going out and back. Amenities are clean, making us feel comfortable staying. One point to note, their food is so nice, not expecting to have these qualitied meals up the hill.

Just to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain. Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather. The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time. One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

The hotel is really near with the bus stop, really convenient. The ameneties are of good quality and the best part is they have mats so the room can keep dry which really rare to have it in china's accommodation. The host and staff are also helpful, thank you!

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect—just about 20 minutes from the busy town center, which makes it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Every morning, I woke up to an amazing mountain view that instantly set the tone for a relaxing day. The property itself is stunning, especially the vineyard, which adds so much charm. I loved the free wine tasting sessions, and the hosts were incredibly kind, caring, and always eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience feel personal. The food was excellent, with every meal prepared thoughtfully and bursting with flavor. For those who love a bit of adventure, the ATV facilities are a fantastic addition. We also enjoyed grape plucking right in the vineyard—such a unique and fun activity! Overall, this place is a perfect blend of tranquility, great service, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of adventure. One small issue I had was that the air-conditioner was blowing warm air, but after I informed the team, they fixed it within a short time. Great service and quick response — really appreciated it!
