GGuest UserThe room is spacious and comfortable, with an excellent location, facing the snow-capped mountains. The next morning, the sun shone on the golden mountain, bringing a huge visual shock
Hua Zong specially arranged a special car to welcome us to the store, and carefully prepared breakfast, road meals and dinner, which were convenient and delicious. He also prepared hiking poles, crampons, etc., which came in handy when hiking on the ice lake line👍👍
May your home in the distance prosper and have a bright future🎉🎉
May Hua Zong weigh everything he gets, and weigh more than sugarcane💪💪
GGuest UserThe hotel design is excellent, and the rooms have many thoughtful touches (like a tripod for guests to take photos of the snowy mountains, charging cables, etc.).
However, I'm not sure if it's the underfloor heating being too strong or something, but the room was generally a bit stuffy and the diffused oxygen content felt insufficient. My blood oxygen level was only 86 when I woke up that night (I suspect the room being too hot led to some altitude sickness).
BUT! The front desk staff were truly amazing. They were very patient and helpful even when I went down to get oxygen in the early hours. Thumbs up to that guy, he was superb! Of course, the reception from other front desk staff was also excellent! The concierge was incredibly detailed and patient in explaining all the hotel's facilities and amenities, including where to find the best views, and he even went through the in-room provisions one by one.
However, the attitude of the other service staff really needs improvement, especially the butler. Compared to other hotels of the same caliber, the difference is significant.
MM310454****I'd been longing to see the Meili Snow Mountain and stay at The Lost Paradise Hotel, and I was lucky enough to witness both the stunning 'Moonlit Silver Mountain' and 'Sunlit Golden Mountain' phenomena.
This was my second time staying at a The Lost Paradise property, and overall, it maintained its high standards. All the staff were very warm and attentive. However, probably due to the large number of guests (all rooms except the suites were fully booked), there were a few flaws. There were cigarette butts left by previous guests on the small outdoor balcony of our room, the turndown service was very hastily done, and the restaurant served the wrong dish and handled it quite poorly. When we checked out, we were told the complimentary souvenirs had run out and they would contact us to send them later, but it's been half a month and we haven't heard anything. The experience was a bit worse than my previous stay at The Lost Paradise Wenyutang.
Despite this, it's still a very worthwhile hotel and my top choice for Meili Snow Mountain.
MM279540****I specifically booked a room facing the snow-capped mountains, and although the price was a bit higher, it was absolutely worth every penny. Waking up in the morning and pulling back the curtains to reveal the majestic snow-capped peaks right in front of me was an indescribable experience – truly breathtaking, and I didn't even need to rush to Feilai Temple for the view. The hotel's service was also incredibly impressive; the front desk staff's warm and infectious smiles instantly melted away my travel fatigue.
The in-room oxygen supply and humidifier were very thoughtful touches, ensuring I had a peaceful night's sleep at this high altitude. During breakfast, it was quite busy, and while the rice noodles were just okay and some items were a bit slow to be refilled, it was understandable overall. My only regret was missing out on the complimentary photography service offered by the hotel – my itinerary didn't allow for it. It would have been perfect if the scheduling was more flexible and available for impromptu bookings.
Overall, this was a highly recommended stay, especially for travelers who want to relax and enjoy the snow-capped mountains and prioritize comfortable accommodation.
MM270024****I have to give this hotel a perfect score! It's the absolute best spot to see the sunrise over the snowy peaks. The service was incredibly warm and attentive. We had to rush for our bus and didn't have time for breakfast, so the owner even gave us yogurt to take with us. Next time any friends go to Feilai Temple, I'll definitely tell them to stay at this hotel.
AAnonymous UserThe room is great and has a good view. It even comes equipped with an oxygen machine and heated blanket. The location is convenient, just a short walk away from the Feilaisi Observation Deck. The service is warm and friendly. I felt very at home here. You get a discount when you eat at their restaurant too. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserThe hotel is really near with the bus stop, really convenient.
The ameneties are of good quality and the best part is they have mats so the room can keep dry which really rare to have it in china's accommodation.
The host and staff are also helpful, thank you!
MM440391****The room is big, everything is complete, the food is good, and you can ride a bike🥰. The most important thing is that you can see the Meili Snow Mountain when you get up. It is also close to Yubeng Village and you can hike🥰. The manager sister is super nice and amiable. , approachable😘, really a good choice
GGuest UserSimply amazing, every aspect of our experience was superb. Right upon arrival, the front desk upgraded our room. Opening the window, we were greeted with a view of Shennü Peak, and the hotel directly faces Baima Snow Mountain. The 4th-floor cafe offers completely unobstructed, panoramic views. What's more, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Feilai Temple viewpoint to watch the sunrise – truly a thoughtful touch! I wanted to buy some matsutake mushrooms but was short on time due to my travel schedule. The owner personally helped me select them and arranged for express delivery. They've already arrived, and the quality is absolutely superb! The room's environment goes without saying: impeccably clean and tidy. It's truly the most satisfying guesthouse I've stayed in recently! I'll definitely be back!
SS.LinaThis independent log cabin has a great atmosphere and is only about a ten-minute walk from the Feilai Temple viewing point. Although the weather wasn't ideal and I couldn't see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, it was still a worthwhile stay for the night! Due to the environment, there were a few bugs in the room. I brought my own insecticide, but the owner could consider providing a mild insect repellent in the rooms for future guests. Also, I didn't plan on using the humidifier, but out of curiosity, I opened it and saw it was full of limescale. If you're going to provide amenities like that, it's important to pay attention to hygiene and clean them regularly.
