Deqin Hotels with Kitchens

"After looking at many options online, we finally chose to stay here. The owner came out to greet us as soon as we arrived and helped guide us to a parking spot. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a family room, which was very spacious and spotlessly clean 👍. The amenities were excellent; the oxygen machine and humidifier were incredibly helpful for those experiencing altitude sickness. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower water temperature and pressure were perfect. The indoor temperature was very warm and comfortable 👍, and we could see the Meili Snow Mountain right from our room. There's also an elevator. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Feilai Temple observation deck, and there's a snack street right downstairs. We didn't see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' on our first day, so we extended our stay for another night, and we were lucky enough to witness the complete 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight,' which was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend 👍!"

"The room was spotless, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely stunning. Every time I dragged my tired body back to the clean, tidy, and warm room and saw the beautiful scenery outside, I'd think, 'Forget hiking tomorrow, just staying in the room all day would be great too!' 😂😂😂 The owner is incredibly thoughtful and considers every detail. They provide free snow gaiters and crampons, and even oranges grown by the auntie herself. It's just a short walk from where you get off the car, so it's not too tiring, but it also saves you a climb when heading to Ice Lake. It's truly the best of both worlds. Even more surprising was the food! After a long day, I didn't want to go out to eat, so I went to the hotel restaurant just to grab a bite, but it completely exceeded my expectations! The only regret is that the room was originally supposed to have a direct view of the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' in the morning, but it rained for three days straight in Yubeng, so I didn't get to see it. I'll definitely come back to Yujian Mountain next time to make up for it."

"It's about an hour and a half drive from Deqin County and about an hour's drive from Napa Lake. We chose this rest stop because we didn't want to rush. We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious, and its riverside location made it warm enough with the air conditioning on. The owner was incredibly kind and invited us to eat together. We happened to be there during a local blessing ceremony, and the owner kept apologizing for disturbing us in the morning, even though we were a little shy. But it looked so delicious! The owner could open a restaurant! We'd definitely choose this place again next time we're in Shangri-La. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it was really clean and comfortable. I've also attached a couple of photos from the journey."

"A very good accommodation experience. The guesthouse's courtyard was very comfortable, and the rooms had underfloor heating. The owner even provided a heater, which made it very warm. Hot water was readily available and very hot. The owner was very kind and welcoming. We arrived at the guesthouse in the evening, and after parking our car, the owner drove us to dinner. Highly recommended!"

"On the way back to Lijiang, I found that there is a large clean and tidy complex on the other side of the Lancang River. I chose the cleanest and spacious Linjiang hotel. The price is super high. The big window is the Lancang River. The room is very large and very clean. It is not lost to the four-star standard of the big city. The riverside boardwalk walked around, the overall stay experience was super nice"

"If you're traveling by bus like me, this hotel is the best choice because it's right next to the bus stop, literally less than a minute's walk away. 😂 **Accommodation:** The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from Feilai Temple observation deck. They offer free breakfast, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try it due to time constraints, which was a bit of a shame. 😔 **Facilities:** They have floor heating, an oxygen concentrator, a humidifier, and a heated ceiling in the bathroom. **Service:** The uncle was very talkative and immediately invited everyone to sit down and rest. The aunt brought a cup of hot tea. The male host (I think)? He seemed a bit shy but diligently helped carry our luggage. The female host (I think)? She was gentle and detailed in explaining the room facilities and how to use the floor heating. They are a very warm and friendly family! The next morning, I saw the shy male host carefully wiping the steps and he even reminded me to be careful as the ground was slippery. **P.S.** There are thoughtful little details in every corner of the room. Check the small box in the bedside table – you're sure to find something you need. This time, I forgot my hand cream, and the snake oil balm there solved a big problem! Thank you to the whole family for your warm hospitality!"

"This hotel is excellent and highly recommended. On the day of arrival, the owner helped me carry my luggage to the room because I was struggling with altitude sickness. Then, he guided me to parking and even thoughtfully placed chocks behind my car's rear wheels. In the morning, when my car was blocked, the owner immediately found the other car owner to move it. It wasn't until I reached Markam that I realized I had left my shoulder bag in the room. I contacted the owner, and he very kindly went out of his way to mail it to me in Lhasa from the county town. If I could give it a ten out of ten, I definitely would! Plus, the room offers a perfect, unobstructed view of the 'sun-kissed golden mountains,' so there's no need to go to a separate viewpoint. Highly, highly recommended."

"This was truly a moving stay! We checked in during Chinese New Year, and because of a flight delay, we didn't arrive until after midnight. The owner came out in the middle of the night to help us with our luggage, turned on the oxygen machine for us, and even brought us instant noodles – absolutely thoughtful! What was even more touching was when they later found out we wanted to go to the observation deck the night before to secure a parking spot. They proactively offered to pick us up, knowing that walking would involve an uphill climb and be quite tiring. My goodness, they offered to pick us up! Even though it was only a 5-minute walk, with the altitude and the climb, the owner's thoughtfulness was incredible and brought tears to my eyes. Getting back to the point, the hotel's location is excellent. The rooftop terrace goes without saying, and the interior of the guesthouse is also absolutely amazing. I've attached photos – perfect for those 'once-in-a-lifetime' shots!"

"That day saw the most perfect sunrise over the Golden Mountain, and I was very satisfied to have managed to book such a comfortable room despite booking at the last minute! The hotel faces Feilai Temple and is newly opened, so everything is very new. There are three underground parking spaces and a large open area for parking next to it. There is an elevator, and the front desk has a receptionist named Xiaomi. The underfloor heating in the room is really warm; even at 20 degrees Celsius, it's still very cozy! I will definitely recommend it to my friends!"

"I went to Feilai Temple to see the sunrise over the Golden Mountain, and the reviews were great. The place was indeed excellent. It's located just a short distance from Feilai Temple, and it has an underground parking garage, so you can drive right in, which is very safe. The room was fully equipped, spacious, and the bedding was excellent and comfortable. It was decorated in a ******* style, and because the owners also live there, the decor was very beautiful. The owners were very welcoming, making me feel right at home. Because my schedule was a bit tight, I only stayed one night and returned the next day after seeing the sunrise. I got their contact information and plan to stay there again when I go to Yubeng. It's about a 12-minute walk or a 4-minute drive from the hotel to the sunrise viewing platform. I had dinner there – a matsutake mushroom and chicken hot pot, which was reasonably priced and incredibly delicious!"
