Fantastic 2-night stay at the Naked Castle. Perfect for a short getaway from surrounding big cities. Beautiful views from the cliffside suite. I prefer the cliffside suite vs. the 5 different themed castle room due to the large open layout of the suite and better views of the mountain. Staffs are super nice and friendly. Buffet breakfast (next to the pool) is good and the restaurant at the castle is great! Not a huge amount of amenities but that's ok since the purpose of going there is to relax. Used half a day to check out the nearby Mo Gan Shan scenic areas. If you don't drive yourself, getting in and out with taxi requires a little bit of planning. Side of the property has two direct hiking trails to the nearby Mo Gan Shan scenic area (easy hike) and Yu Cun (very challenging). Pro tip: make sure to bring anti-mosquito/bugs bite lotion/cream and also anti-itch lotion. Special shout-out to Johnson, who really took care of us during our stay and the restaurant staff at the castle for their excellent service!

I had 4 nights, it was magnificent experience. Very well organized, magic location, grand breakfast and many activities to engage with. Could easily fill a whole week. More attentive staff than I have experienced anywhere in China. The Branch Manager Chris always looking over everything, even could talk to the personal guest manager Joan through dedicated WeChat channel all times. Everything was taken of. So easy and effortless. Hope to return soon for more Sport activities as possibilities are endless. Also visited their Castle which has its own Charme and good combination.

The breakfast was the standard rice porridge and egg so if that is not for you I suggest you bring your own food. The staff was overall friendly but hard to get information from what I assumed was the male manager and I needed to ask several times about possible hiking trails and only got an answer when I finally said that I will find my own trails. If you like karaoke, pool table , table football, Chinese men swimming and walking around in underwear, smoking, clutter, Beijing belly and basic furniture then this is a great place.
