Well located quiet environment but no reception staff to help customers check in and check out because reception is linked to bar.
Door lock wasn’t okay in my room which left my room half open for the whole day. Charging 5pounds per day for parking to customers is to me a bad idea

Stopped here for 2 nights for a friend's wedding nearby. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and the reception area looked lovely. However unfortunately the room was disappointing. Loose tiles on the bathroom floor, loose toilet seat that moved, stains on the carpet, tv didn't work, no fridge etc. It was a real shame, especially given the price which wasn't cheap. Additionally the £5 parking per night for guests is abit ridiculous. Surely guests should get this included once your reg has been added to the system. A few tweaks and this would have been a positive review however the small things mentioned meant this is not a hotel I would return to in the future.

Well appointed and run hotel and very good value for accommodation. Staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly Gabby and Richard. Food is very expensive though in my opinion (£43 for fillet steak and no steak under £30) and bar prices include a service charge ! £16 for a pint of Guinness and a single G&T. Rooms are fine but very limited selection of TV channels and no biscuits to go with tea/coffee. We’ll come again but won’t eat or drink here as Seven Restaurant & Bar is 2 mins walk away and is absolutely fabulous and cheaper.

Staff were excellent and made our trip very enjoyable. Beds were very comfortable. Had lunch and drinks at the bar which were very good
