"As my friends and I were travelling by train from different areas of the UK the hotel was an easy meeting place.. We all found our rooms very clean and,spacious..The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Nothing was rushed and all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"Amazing Hotel. Love it. We will back there for sure!! Parking at extra COST £8 PER DAY. I'm used to free parking for customers. But when you have a Ryanair ticket and have to pay for a seat even though you can't stand, I'm no longer surprised by what money can do. 🫣 But as a Hotel 10/10 😀 Breakfest 10/10 👍"

"The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Derby Station, which is very helpful for travelers. However, the room was a little dark, and the lift was out of service during our stay, which could be inconvenient if you have luggage. The bed was too soft for our comfort, and it was difficult to adjust the shower temperature properly. Although it only takes a minute to reach the train station, it’s about a 20-minute walk to get to the main city centre. On the positive side, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were quite friendly and helpful."

"Perfect for staying overnight after watching Sarah Millican at Derby Arena. Less than a 10 min walk. So relieved we stayed there after seeing the traffic queues to and from the arena. 2 min walk to Frankie & Benny’s for food. Excellent friendly service from everyone we met on reception. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Lovely and clean and modern. Decent price for rooms and parking. Would definitely recommend it."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and were very impressed by the staff — they were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, which made a positive difference. However, the interior of the rooms did not quite match the photos provided online. Our group stayed in three different rooms, and unfortunately, none of the thermal meters were functioning properly. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to fall asleep. In my own room, the washbasin was also clogged, which caused further inconvenience."

"Receptionist was very helpful, everything spotlessly clean and very convenient being close to major roads and rail. Also great that three restaurants are across the road. Second stay here and will definitely use again."

"Not too bad, apart from the construction going on in the hallways on our floor and longer walks to the lift and exit stairs, breakfast is reasonable, nice lady Honey, the breakfast staff nice staff, reception staff is good, room is good. Nice view."

"Lovely hotel. Clean, tidy, comfortable. Staff were excellent, one & all. Conveniently located with a short walk to the station, the shopping centre, a football ground and other such exciting places as 10 pin bowling, cinemas, axe throwing (highly recommended) and crazy golf for adults only! As a Londoner, I don’t know what I expected of Derby but I’m very glad I made the trip. I have nothing negative to say about the Stewart Hotel, the people of Derby and the fantastic Derby as a whole. Well worth a visit."
