"We’ve stayed in Travelodge in many cities. For the same price and the quality and experience was great. This hotel was overpriced, reception always closed. No food to order on an evening, which is why we choose to stay at Travelodge's for trips. The rooms heating was dreadful. It was either on 22 degrees or freezing. For the price we paid it was a poor experience. The key card didn’t work despite repeatedly getting this fixed and having to call to be allowed in. "

"Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Coach House, can't praise it enough. The room was amazing and had everything we needed, including electric fan! Welcome on arrival was really warm and helpful as had been my communication with the team prior to arrival about where to eat locally. Location was perfect for wedding venue we were attending. Breakfast choice and quality was great. Would not hesitate to recommend."

"I booked into the Premier Inn as my brother was unwell in the hospital a short walk away and I needed to be nearby. The lady on check in couldn’t have done enough to help me when I told her why I needed the room. Just so kind. The room was spacious and very clean with a really comfortable bed. The next day my brother had become more unwell so I booked a further night stay that morning. Sadly during the afternoon my brother died so the room was no longer required but I’d missed the threshold to cancel my stay. The staff in the hotel were very helpful giving me the details of who I needed to contact to ask regarding a refund. Two days later I contacted Customer relations and spoke to an man called Ron. He was so compassionate and caring. He not only managed a refund for me but sent me the most delightful email offering his condolences. I couldn’t have wished for better service. It restored my faith in humanity. Thank you so so much"

"Amazing stay at the Stay Company. I appreciate the fresh milk, cereals and hot chocolate provided at the property. Everything was so clean and tidy. The little living room with a couch was very cozy too. The price is very cheap for this standard. I feel sorry for myself that I didn't find the gem earlier. But I'll definitely stay there again next time I come to Derby."

"Stayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay."
