A lovely hotel close to Derby and very accessible. The room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant next door was great with lots of options for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were very helpful and polite and answered all my queries. Will definitely stay again.

Great value for price, very comfy bed, clean, definitely stay again if in the area! Very close to shops if needed to go out, local retail park, petrol station, and a pub across the car park, started with depends, £46 a night, cracking deal, highly recommend

Clean room and bathroom. Reception is in Marston’s pub across the car park . They were friendly and efficient with what we asked for . Replaced the batteries in the door lock and the remote control . Thank you .

This was ideal for an over night stay, with free parking, close to Derby Royal Hospital for us to visit a relative, which was only a 10 min walk away, this saved on parking fee's and queuing at the Hospital.
The pub was excellent for food with a nice atmosphere. The carvery was delicious!
We had the breakfast too, which was good.
We would stay again, the beds were comfy and clean but it really does needs modernising and updating.

Room was really dirty. I usually stay at Premier Inn but wanted to give somewhere else a try. I understand this is a cheaper hotel but seriously the cleaners must just change the bedding and towels and put some bleach down the toilet. There were long dead spiders all over, the bathroom floor hadn’t even been brushed, shower head clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and there were visible cobwebs in every corner. Worst part was as I was about to get into bed it looked like there was something inside my pillow case so I took it off and the pillow had dried blood on it. Won’t be staying again. It’s a shame as the member of staff who checked me in was friendly and the rooms are decent enough. I didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that. I would recommend that the cleaners are given more training and that managers check the rooms regularly.

The room was a good size, plenty of switch sockets. Bed was very comfy, so we had a good night sleep. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I have a dietary issue and they were very accommodation and made sure I was well catered for. Thank you chefs and the lady that served us breakfast- sorry I didn't get your name.
