It was our first time staying in downtown Des Moines. Our entire stay from check-in to check-out was superior. After driving all day it was so nice to relax. The staff could not be more accommodating. Checking in was a breeze. We arrived for check in later in the evening so the bar area was open for food and having a delicious menu with many things to choose from. The bar staff went out of our way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast in the restaurant had a wonderful assortment of choices and the service was excellent. Again, the entire staff was kind, courteous and gave amazing customer service.

Absolutely love this hotel and location when we stay downtown for events since it’s connected to the skywalk. The bar, food, and front desk service were very attentive. Love the Hilton bedding and towels above any hotel!

Rooms are small, beds were small. No microwave in the room. Its very inconvenient to have to go down multiple floors to the lobby several times a day and night to warm up a baby bottle. Not at all family friendly, or convenient with small children. This amenity should be standard in a hotel of this price and stature

This was the best hotel stay I've ever had. The room and view of the capital were spectacular. The pool was clean, large, and saltwater. Food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff were kind and helpful.

Room was good, elevators were down a significant amount of time! We were there for a dance comp and lugging all that stuff up and down 8 floors was a lot!

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very nice. It was very quiet for being downtown. It was within walking distance to some really good restaurants. The Hilton brand has always been quality. I wish they would have had a better selection of things in the grab and go, but they didn’t.

This is an awesome hotel. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Especially the front desk and restaurant staff. My bed was so comfortable and the room and hotel were very clean. I always saw staff cleaning. My room was quiet and I slept well for once The restaurant food was excellent! The front desk accommodated us anytime we needed something. Will definitely stay here again, thanks for a wonderful experience
