"The hotel is convenient, located close to the airport, there is a free transfer to the airport, but it was impossible to sleep in the room because of the neighbors, very poor soundproofing, you could hear literally every rustle, the breakfast is very poor, but for its price it is very good, suitable for spending one night"

"Excellent service from Tracey and her team. She was so kind, helpful and friendly. All staffs at the reception was so welcoming. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Beds were so comfy and had a good night sleep. Breakfast was delicious with variety of choices. We wished to have stayed here longer but had to catch a flight the next day. Definitely returning in the future. Highly recommend to everyone visiting Des Moines. Thanks to every staffs for making our stay amazing!!"

"The staff was so friendly! We had a bit of miscommunication between the hotel and trip.com regarding payment, but they got it worked out quickly and the staff were quick to make things right for us! We enjoyed both the hot tub & pool and both were exactly what we needed!! The hotel was far enough from downtown to be peaceful but close enough that everything was accessible. The biggest thing that stood out was how accommodating the staff were. Absolutely recommend."

"When picking up the plane, the hotel asked me to take a taxi from the airport, the hotel paid the money, when the plane was delivered, the hotel staff drove it by themselves and the service was very good. The hotel is in the city, but because it is a big winter, it is cold outside, the river is frozen, the road is frozen, so there is almost no outdoor activity, just walked down SKYWALK, an indoor passage connecting many buildings in the city. There is also heating inside, and the city is small."

The apartment is located at the very end of the hall for extra privacy with steps to door access outside of the complex. Unit is located on the first walk (access via stairs only). Walk into the apartment and be greeted by an open floor plan with white quartz counter tops and stocked living amenities.
First door to the right off the kitchen if our first bedroom furnished with a queen size bed, 65-inch TV, and walk in closet. The closet is loaded with luxury including a 7-foot-tall mirror, vanity, white rug, and velvet pink chair to really take your getting ready experience or selfie to the next level.
The first bathroom is the second door off of the kitchen featuring bright white lighting, tub shower, fresh toiletries, and dazzling silver and white decor.
Located next to the kitchen the spacious open living room features a mini cocktail bar stocked with all your necessities along with a 75-inch TV. Sit back and relax on our couch or two velvet chairs topped with our cozy pillows. Queen air mattress can be placed in living room as needed.
Traveling for work? We got you! A desk is located in the bedroom closet with an extra supportive desk chair for lumbar/thoracic back support that can be brought out and used.
Off of the living room you will find our Primary bedroom with private bathroom. It is supplied with queen size bed, blue velvet chair, fan, lighting, and cozy amenities. Second bathroom features a walk-in shower.
When you think it can't get better, our unit also has it very own private walk-in patio deck with breath taking views over Downtown Des Moines. Our deck is the largest throughout the property so feel free to dance and celebrate your stay, we are excited to welcome you!

The Hay Loft offers privacy for your large group, yet it's also close to everything that Des Moines has to offer!
Our amenities include: spacious hot tub, fire-pit, grill, office space and a fully stocked kitchen. Fiber internet/WiFi + smart TVs in every room. Just a couple of blocks from Drake College, and within three miles of the Iowa Event Center and Wells Fargo Arena.
Our home is equipped with three (3) exterior cameras. This is for security only, we DO NOT monitor gathering spaces. #1: Located at the front deck, facing the door/street. #2: On the N side of the home, facing the street. #3: On the back of the home, facing the driveway.
For your stay, we provide a starter kit for essentials and toiletries:
- Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in each shower
- First couple days supply of coffee/k cups
- First few loads of dishwasher and clothes washer detergent pods

After requesting your reservation, you will receive a notification to complete our Rental Agreement, confirming the terms and conditions of your stay at The Hay Loft - which you will be able to execute digitally.
Kitchen: Cooking utensils, salt/pepper/cooking spray, baking dishes, pots and pans, crock pot, toaster, blender, Keurig and a coffee maker (with coffee packs, teabags, creamer and sweetener to get you started).
Dining: Custom table with seating for 12 people (plus additional chairs if needed). Highchair available in the bedroom closet.
Living Room/Game Room: There is a large sectional, queen sleeper sofa, and a futon. The room has two, 65in smart Roku TVs and a Nintendo Wii

You’ll be greeted by a entry hall that leads to the main living room, dining room, and kitchen.
Looking for a little privacy? Head through the dining room and you'll find the first master suite, complete with a king-sized bed and a large bathroom. And don't worry about fighting over the TV - each bedroom in the home has its own television, so everyone can enjoy their favorite shows in peace.
Speaking of the kitchen, it's fully stocked with everything you need to make a family-sized meal, from nice appliances to pots and pans, utensils, and small appliances like a coffee pot, Keurig, espresso machine, blender, slow cooker, and toaster.
Just through the kitchen, you'll find a full-size washer and dryer conveniently tucked away in their own little cove. And on the other side of the kitchen, there's a second living room.
As you continue through the south wing of the home, you'll find the second master suite, complete with a king bed and attached bathroom. And for the kids or additional guests, there are two more bedrooms that share a bathroom - one with a queen bed, and the other with a twin bunk bed. There is a pack n play and two floor mattresses stored in a closet that can be moved anywhere in the house.
Don’t stop upstairs! In the massive third living area you will find yet another area for your group to create memories. Comfortable sofas, additional dining/game table, ping pong table, dart board and space to run.
On the far end of the basement, you’ll find the fourth full size bathroom and the fifth bedroom! This bedroom has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds.
The basement also houses a pullout sofa and plenty of floor space if you’d like to bring the two twin floor mattresses downstairs.
We couldn’t be more excited about inviting your family/group into our home. We’ve stayed here ourselves with 19 people and some very loud teens and everyone had plenty of room.
